Support for pet owners facing financial strain By Rachael THORPE MORE than 100 people brought their cats and dogs along to the Healthy Pet Day in Port Macquarie on 23 April. Hosted by the Port Macquarie RSPCA Supporter Group and held at the St Agnes Community Centre, Healthy Pet Day is for owners facing financial challenges. Their pets receive free vaccinations, vet health checks, engraved pet tags, pet food, and microchipping. Name tags and microchipping help to ensure a pet is returned

$7m funding win for Cowarra Water Treatment Plant By Sis HIGGINS
THE State Government’s commitment of $7m to the Cowarra Water Treatment Plant has been described
as “great news” by Port Macquarie Hastings Mayor Adam Roberts. It’s also been welcomed
