Au contraire to copping out, the lad had built an 18ft sailing boat and needed Dad’s expertise driving the trailer to shift the boat from A to B. “I was inspired to build a sailboat when I went on a family reunion to the Whitsunday Islands in Queensland and stayed on a yacht for seven days on the seas and loved it,” Mark told News Of The Area. “While there, Dad and I were looking at the different sailboats and thought it would be a cool idea to build one from scratch.” They bought the plans online from The Stevenson

Nambucca Valley Landcare - restoring flora and fauna after fire FROM Page 1

Funding has been provided by the Australian Government, Landcare Australia and Nambucca Valley Council. Logan Zingus from Nambucca Valley Landcare told News Of The Area, “By the end of the project, we’re aiming at planting at least 6600 trees; installing riparian fencing across at least 4km; implementing weed control across 2ha of burnt/regenerating waterways; repairing two river restoration structures damaged by the fire and delivering three workshops focused on Indigenous/ecological fire management.” The troops have been rallied and there’s now a big group of people contributing to help the project succeed. “Farm management work, like fencing, is being completed by 18 landholders as in-kind contributions, while volunteers and neighbours are helping plant trees at field days. “On some sites, specialist contractors are undertaking bush regeneration and erosion control works.” The key area of focus is restoring the riparian zone of affected waterways, including South Arm Creek, Taylors Arm, and large tributaries. With the massive loss of vegetation to absorb, and slow heavy rains, significantly more water flows through the catchment at a faster rate.

“The results are clear - erosion of previously stable areas, with the loss of quality aquatic and terrestrial habitat. “There is no doubt that in the majority of cases, the most efficient and effective way to restore eroding waterways is to provide a heavily vegetated buffer zone through riparian fencing, weed control and planting. “Often, once cattle are excluded, the bush can regenerate through natural processes. “Where there is limited natural recruitment of natives plants, or on sites that are heavily infested with woody weeds, we need to control weeds before planting native trees to start this process. “Although planting trees is lots of fun (who doesn’t love digging holes?) and can q Nambucca Valley Landcare volunteers.

Logan said it’s been hard to organise face-to-face workshops amid the current restrictions, but the group is working with the Darrunda Wajaarr Land & Sea Management Team and the RFS Hotpots program to deliver workshops aimed at sharing traditional fire management knowledge, along with practical skills for the protection of life and property. All the works will be completed by the end of April 2022.

Hyland Park Bridge Petition By Brooke LEWIS RESIDENTS have launched a petition calling for Nambucca Valley Council to take urgent action to repair the footbridge that allows beach access from Hyland Park. Council closed public access to the bridge on July 21, citing safety concerns, and has advised locals it will not be reopened until repairs have been completed, which is slated for late December because of delays in sourcing materials. At the time of going to print, 241 people had signed the Change.org petition, which notes that “many people are relying on this bridge to achieve their daily exercise, which is important for both their physical and mental well-being” during the statewide lockdown. In a letter to Council shared with News Of The Area, Hyland Park resident Johanna Morrison described the decision to make the bridge inaccessible during a lockdown as “heartless” and “cruel”. “There was absolutely no community consultation before the bridge was closed off to the public,” she said. “If you knew the materials for the construction of the new bridge were going to take such a long time to arrive from overseas then you should've created a safe temporary solution to fix the issue. “The bridge was by no means in a state of complete disrepair. “A safe temporary fix would've been easily achievable and inexpensive.” Nambucca Shire Council Manager of Infrastructure Services

Matthew Leibrandt said Council’s original plans to repair the bridge before it became unsafe had been derailed by supply chain issues caused by the global pandemic. “We are using Composite Fibre Technologies (CFT) for the structure, which is made in Australia, and FRP Grating coming from overseas for the deck – this is the material with the longest lead time,” he said. “The pile driver was ready to be shipped from the USA around the first week of June, and was expected to be dispatched from Queensland mid to late June. “The driver was sourced from a factory in the USA and they have had shutdowns from Covid and the winter storms. “The driver was delivered in the last week of August, approximately two months late.” Council considered alternative solutions for the repairs and ultimately decided waiting for the delayed materials to arrive was the best option.

“The site is constrained by access and environmental issues,” Leibrandt said. “The site access is serviced by a soft-sand four-wheel-drive access for delivery of materials, equipment and staff, and the construction site is within a protected wetland area. “These constraints make this project quite complicated to deliver and limit options.” Temporary repairs were also considered and deemed too expensive. “Temporary repairs to allow the footbridge to be opened for an extra month leading up to the commencement of works were estimated at $25,000 to $30,000 and, after considering the lead time on repairs and that reconstruction commencement was imminent, it was decided not to proceed with temporary repairs,” Leibrandt said. In response to questions about why Council quickly dismantled temporary repairs that had been

www.newsofthearea.com.au made by frustrated locals within a few weeks of the bridge being closed, Leibrandt shared photos showing what looks to be a stack of wood cuttings used to fill the gap between a decaying pier and the deck, and a single-plank walkway with a log handrail replacing a section of the bridge. While noting that a small engineering team is currently “delivering the largest capital works program in the Council’s history, along with repairs to infrastructure damaged by recent natural disaster events” and routine maintenance and upgrades, Leibrandt said reinstating beach access from Hyland Park remained a priority. “We know the footbridge is important to the residents of Hyland Park and we are working hard to complete repairs as soon as possible,” he said, adding that the work will be completed by a Council team of locals who will also be undertaking repairs to the stairs leading to the footbridge at the same time.

Nambucca Valley Council Mayor Rhonda Hoban said it was “disappointing that Council’s asset management processes did not identify early enough the poor structural condition of this footbridge” and that senior management will implement the necessary changes recommended by a recent independent audit to ensure that asset condition is monitored, maintenance requirements are identified and completed in a timely manner, and sufficient funding is set aside when replacement is required. “When Council identifies an issue in our performance we do take it seriously and proceed to rectify it,” she said. “I realise this is no consolation to residents of Hyland Park inconvenienced by the lack of access to the beach, particularly when they are so limited in outdoor activities due to Covid. “Council will make every effort to restore access as quickly as possible.”

HOT on the heels of the report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) comes an Australian Government survey which shows that voters in every Federal seat in Australia support increased action on climate change.

A YouGov survey of 15,000 people showed that, as well as climate action, voters support the adoption of renewable technology over the government’s plan for a gasled recovery. According to the largest poll ever conducted on climate change and politics in the country, action on climate change is as much an issue in rural electorates as elsewhere. In the Federal electorate of Cowper, 58% of voters felt that

climate change was an important or most important election issue. 55% percent of voters believed the Federal Government need to be doing more to address climate change while 72% believed greater climate action will help nature and wildlife survive extreme weather. 62% percent of

GenHealth Youth Service launches at Nambucca Youthie By Rachel MCGREGOR-ALLEN GENHEALTH Youth Services launched a youth mental health and wellbeing support service at the Nambucca Youthie on Monday, 6 September 2021. Louise Tan from GenHealth told News Of The Area, “GenHealth Youth Services is a service of GenHealth, which is a community based organisation providing primary

health services that promote physical, mental and social wellbeing across the Mid North Coast and Clarence areas. “GenHealth Youth Services is funded by the Healthy North Coast Primary Health Network.” When asked if this new service is the result of an identified need for youth in the Valley Ms Tan explained that GenHealth and Healthy North Coast “embarked on a co-design project to better understand and respond to the Nambucca Valley’s youth mental health services”. “The Nambucca co-design shops involved young people who had

accessed the previous service and included their friends and families.” Three specific needs were identified: early intervention and social connectedness, technologyenabled care coordination, and postattempt care support by facilitated clinical screening and connection.” Ms Tan said the new service aims to meet these needs by: 1.Providing young people with greater access to social groups, and supporting those who share a lived experience of mental health, including better access to peer workers 2. Youth workers supporting

digital health strategies; and greater availability of digital devices for access to telehealth 3. Identifying young people needing support and linking agencies that provide additional care and support to young people, family and friends in times of need. Throughout the country many people are requiring additional support during this unusual time with COVID restrictions and the impact that this is having on day-to-day living. “Data across the country shows us that more young people are requiring support during these unprecedented

times of COVID-19 and face many uncertainties,” said Ms Tan. All appointments for this service are currently online, and GenHealth hopes to be able to offer in person appointments once restrictions allow. The service can be accessed through self referral and external referral (another service/family or friend). diffuse feelings of nervousness and lack of confidence. “We peel back the layers to find the real you before the world changed you. “Once learned, these techniques can be used next time those feelings come on in other situations like struggling at school, being bullied, or just saying ‘no’. “We often start with the kids in a family, and it has a ripple effect

HORSES Helping Humans is a sciencebased program that is changing lives through its proven techniques of building confidence, discovering your voice and finding peace with trauma. The program, designed by Sue Spence Communications, is now being offered to the Nambucca Valley community at Pog’s Place. APPLICATIONS are now open to local tourism operators seeking to refresh, revamp and positively perk-up their website thanks to Destination North Coast’s Digital Refresh Grant Program. The Digital Refresh Grant Program offers financial support to tourism businesses on the North Coast to either refresh an existing website, build a new one or enhance digital capacity. SPRING is most definitely in the air and as we say goodbye to Winter what can we expect for the coming season? According to Bureau of Meteorology climatologists, Spring in Australia may see more rain than usual in the east and a dry outlook for parts of the west. The latest seasonal outlook issued by the Bureau states that this Spring is likely to bring above average rainfall for people living in the east of the country as well as cooler days and warmer nights. Bureau climatologist

Wet and warm Spring predicted Dr Andrew Watkins said predictions for a wetter and warmer Spring come after a particularly wet and warm Winter. "Nationally, we've seen the wettest winter since 2016," he said. "Australia's average winter temperature is also expected to be one of the ten warmest on record, particularly in the tropical north." Dr Watkins said the main reason behind the Bureau's

prediction for a wetter than average Spring was a climate driver called the Indian Ocean Dipole (IOD). "We've currently got a negative IOD - a phenomenon which typically brings an increased chance of rainfall to southern and eastern Australia," he said. "This negative IOD is expected to persist throughout spring but is currently weaker than the last negative IOD event we

saw in 2016, which brought Australia's wettest MayOctober period on record." Another relevant climate driver, known as the El Niño-Southern Oscillation (or ENSO), is likely to remain neutral with no declaration of a La Niña event expected in the coming months. Smart Farms Small Grants COWPER individuals and organisations can apply for a share of $13 million in Australian Government Smart Farms Small Grants funding for activities to assist farmers and land managers improve their understanding and management of their soil. Pat Conaghan, Federal Member for Cowper said the round provided an exciting opportunity for raising awareness and knowledge of our nation’s soil. “This round will continue to support the Smart Farms Small Grants Program outcomes while also supporting outcomes under the National Soil Strategy,” Mr Conaghan said.

“We all know that healthy soil is the basis for great agricultural output as well as environmental benefits, so this final round of Smart Farms Small Grants is getting back to basics. “Soil extension activities will take action to improve soil health with evidencebased interventions leading to improved soil management practices. “If we get this right, our farmers and land managers will see increased productivity and profitability, which will help the entire agriculture sector reach its Ag2030 goal to grow agriculture to $100 billion by 2030.” The final round of Smart

2021 the Australian Koala Foundation (AKF) launched a new initiative called the ‘Koala Kiss Project’. The vision of this project, the ‘Great Koala Trail’, would see the creation of an uninterrupted conservation corridor of approximately 2543kms of koala habitat that would be connected by key ‘kiss points’. Deborah Tabart OAM said remaining koala habitat that is extremely fragmented comes close, in some areas, to ‘kissing’ each other. These connections provide what could be key to saving the

koala. Ms Tabart said, “If we achieve contiguous habitat, then all creatures great and small could traverse through the bush unthreatened. “Humans could walk under this train of gum trees with koalas happily in the branches overhead. “The first phase of this project will be a scientific exercise using software to plot the kiss points over 1.5 million square kilometres of land. “Once identified, landholders must be given incentives to plant koala forests that link fragmented habitats.

Is a suicide note a will?

HARRY sadly ends his own life, leaving a handwritten but unsigned and undated note. Harry was married to Linda but they were separated at the date of his death. The note is addressed “to whom it may concern” and leaves “all assets” to Linda. Linda files an application with the Supreme Court of New South Wales, seeking orders that the note be declared to be an “informal will” and that she be appointed as the administrator of Harry’s estate. In the alternative, Linda seeks a declaration that Harry died without leaving a will and that she is entitled to act as administrator on the basis that she receives the whole of his estate “on intestacy”, as his legal spouse. The police retain custody of the original note and Linda submits a typed version to the Court, based on a copy. Linda’s application is opposed by Harry’s siblings, who are beneficiaries under Harry’s previous, duly executed will. They allege that this will was removed from Harry’s home after his death. There is no evidence that Harry suffered from any psychological conditions that would have affected his capacity when he wrote the note but there was evidence that Harry was under the influence of alcohol when he passed. In assessing Linda’s application, the Court notes that in circumstances where there is a missing will, there is a presumption that it was destroyed by Harry with the intention to revoke the will. The Court finds that this presumption was not “rebutted”. The Court also finds that the note stated Harry’s “testamentary intentions” and that he intended it to form his will. The Court ultimately orders that the formal requirements of a will, which require execution in the presence of two witnesses, are to be “dispensed with” in the circumstances and that the note entitles Linda to the whole of his estate and to act as administrator. Macksville family business suffers third break-in of 2021 AT 1:32am on Saturday 5 September local business Elk on 38 in Macksville was broken into for the third time this year. “It is getting ridiculous,” owner Bree Castle told News Of The Area. “You can see on the footage in all three instances, it is just children doing the break and enters.” The footage from the September 5 incident that was given to police shows three young assailants throwing a rock through the front door of the Elk on 38 premises in the early hours of Saturday morning. When the safety glass didn’t shatter, the thieves proceeded to pull out a hammer where they spent the better part of the next three minutes hammering aggressively at the glass to provide enough space for them to enter the premises. Once inside they ran straight to the section of the bar where the spirits were kept. “It was obvious it was the same group of kids,” Bree said. “They knew exactly where to go, they ran straight to the spirits even running past and ignoring a full tip jar. “They are getting brazen, they even bought their backpacks along with them to make it easier to carry the numerous bottles of spirits they had stolen. “If they had been stealing food or money it would be a little less of a bitter pill to swallow, but the fact they have taken alcohol all three times shows it is for self gratification.” Bree stated. When asked if the police have been successful in finding the thieves that have broken into the Elk on the last three occasions Ms Castle replied, “No, unfortunately in the past, these kids were wearing balaclavas and gloves.

THE Nambucca Valley is home to a number of wellregarded female figures who are the driving forces behind their sporting clubs. Whether it be as a coach or president, women have left an indelible impression on the sporting landscape of the region. The further promotion of these pivotal sporting figures is set to be supported through a $600,000 funding package from the NSW Government. The funding package will help promote women into leadership roles at sporting organisations across the state. Minister for Sport Natalie Ward said the funding package

will increase the number of exciting new leadership opportunities for women in sports-based roles both on and off the field. “I am a passionate supporter of women being involved in all levels of sport, and this package will help open the door for those who aspire to leadership positions,” she said. “Funding will go towards initiatives that promote women in roles such as coaching, officiating, board directorship and developing inclusive sporting cultures.” The funding boost is in addition to $640,000 recently announced through the Her Sport Her

Ward said the investment would help in making sports leadership more equitable. “The Her Sport Her Way strategy acknowledges the importance of female leaders and mentors in the sector as coaches, officials and administrators,” she said. “This investment will enable education programs and support organisations in embedding equitable leadership at all levels of sport, from grassroots through to boardrooms.” Sport NSW will deliver gender inclusive training to sporting organisations and support professional

THE confusion about the management of Covid increases by the day. How much confusion, anxiety and hardship will be tolerated before it is recognised that we are at war with a formidable, invisible enemy and as such, the Principles of War apply: the more relevant principles are "selection and maintenance of the aim", "concentration of effort," and "administrative support". Just like a conventional war, there will be casualties and some collateral damage as a few people have severe reactions to vaccinations. In considering the "selection and maintenance of the aim", we need to realise that regarding the enemy too casually can give the virus the ability to overload our hospital system and exponentially increase the loss of life. On the other hand, the more harshly we take defensive action (closed borders), the more severely our economy will be depleted, and our ability to provide hospital beds, care and services will be severely strained: if care services breakdown it would be a serious loss in the war effort. Therefore, is it not reasonable to assume that the national aim should be to have the most knowledgeable people complete the appropriate scientific analysis and determine the most efficacious balance between loss of life and acceptance of a depletion of the economy? Because the balance between economic damage and enemy suppression will vary, flexibility and prompt response in the "administrative support" is essential. In considering "concentration of effort", the National Cabinet does not seem to be able to make advances in getting agreement between states to maximise the benefits of cooperation. Do we need a centralised Commander with the authority to force people to get immunised because this enemy has many destructive consequences in its arsenal, and because of this, must citizens be prepared to sacrifice a degree of "freedom of choice" if victory is to be achieved? Is it time to take politics from the equation and give authority to a commander who can work quickly to establish definitive economics/ health criteria as the basis for arriving at the most appropriate balance between economy and casualties, with the purpose being the good of the nation as a whole? And if this war is won or an acceptable compromise ‘negotiated’ (such as annual injections?). I suggest that all Australians need to enquire and determine the reasons why so many businesses are so vulnerable to unavoidable fateful events, and why so many children and adults are developing mental illness because of their unpreparedness for, and inability to cope with, stressful situations. Commercially, the concept of a provisional account in budgets seems to have disappeared from commercial practice: commercial history shows that there are cyclical events that will stress businesses and should be planned for, rather than depending on the generosity of the community to bail them out. Should Peter Costello's suggestion of establishing appropriate emergency funds be given serious consideration? The current level of self-indulgence by many citizens suggests that there would be ample discretionary funds available to establish emergency funds – maybe less self-indulgence and more help to those in need would have social advantages? Should governments, parents and universities examine the concepts of parenting education so that parents can teach their children the life skills of coping and self-reliance in times of emotional stress from which no one can escape during a lifetime? I suggest that contemporary society is struggling when they try to solve 21st century problems with pre-global, 20th century thinking. When this ‘war’ is over, do we all need to think at a deeper level of moral principle, as we ask, ‘why are families breaking down’, ‘why are there over 100,000 (and increasing) children in care or foster homes’, ‘ why is domestic violence still increasing’, ‘why is sexual harassment increasing’? Sprinkled with a dose of comedy, the script is loosely based on the true story of Barry Seal (Cruise), a commercial airline pilot who became involved in drugs and arms smuggling while working for the CIA. Seal carried out one of the largest covert operations in US history, in the process spawning the Medellin Cartel. Despite its historical inaccuracies, the ﬁlm is a slick ride.

After almost two months of feverishly tuning in three nights a week, the moment fans have been speculating about has arrived: the winner will be crowned. With their pride and a whopping $500,000 on the line, which contestant will leave the ﬁnal tribal council as the Sole Survivor? The spectacle of determination, manipulation and strength has seen the contestants push themselves to their limits. Even Jonathan LaPaglia wasn’t immune from the harsh conditions.

AFL North Coast have scheduled their season deciders for this coming weekend. This season’s junior grand finals are tentatively

Friday, 10 September 2021

scheduled to be played on Sunday, 12 September, depending on if the lockout is lifted this week as part of the revised Public Health Order. AFL North Coast and its clubs have agreed this will be the latest date that the grand finals will be

postponed to, having already been postponed from their original date in mid-August due to the lockdown. If all goes well, the Port Macquarie Magpies and Nambucca Valley Lions will play off for the big prize in the Under 15s premiership decider.

q Allan Clarke has won the Club Championship title more than 30 times. Congratulations Allan.

HE’S done it again. Allan Clarke is once more the victor in the Macksville Country Club’s Club Championships. It started in 1977 (the year Elvis died) as a 16-year-old. Since then, Allan Clarke has been a consistent winner of the Club Championships, taking the title more than 30 times. For someone to come along and beat Allan's record, it wouldn't be possible before about 2060.

The final round of the Championships was sponsored by Trevor and Mark Latham and apart from Allan's win, the runner up was Mick Manning. Ross Donnelly, who has probably been a challenger in all of Allan's wins, won the net event. B grade saw Mick O'Brien win from Shane Langley in the gross event. Mick also won the net from Steve Hosking. C grade went to Noel Austin who held on to win by one shot from Jim Katsoolas, Greg Zirkler and Neil Cunneen,

who was runner up on a count back. The story has it that Jim Katsoolas’ second last hole proved costly. Neil Cunneen won the C grade net event. In the Saturday stroke event Steve Ellis probably had the round of his life with a net 67 off an 8 handicap, winning him both the monthly medal and spoon Tony Adams won B grade and Tannah Bradshaw C grade. Brodie Bartlett had an eagle 2 on the par 4 fifteenth.

CONTINUING great end of Winter weather and a good run on the fairways has contributed to good fields and some great scores, including another Hole in One! Who’d have thought that a net 66 would miss out on a trophy prize and only get a golf ball! Thanks to all for continuing to observe our Covid-safe protocols on and off course – seems like everyone is getting used to the faster speed of play since we are playing in 2’s. Tuesday 31 August was a Medley Stableford, and Division 1 (scratch to 18) was won by Nambucca Newsagency’s Stephen Kimber (18) with a great 43 points, runner-up was Uri Ylinen (18) with 39 points. Terrie Smith (40) from Bowraville won Division 2 (19 to 45) with 39 points from Peter Shepherd (23) with 37 points. Other good scores from Chris Clarke & Lee Fewings 37, Stuart Garvey, Chris Tinson, Ted Beaton, Keith Elphick & Adrienne Smith all had 36 points. The Ball Rundown went to 34 points on countback. NTP’s went to Geoff McCann on 5, Jeffrey Vanderwyk on 7, Peter Shepherd won the Subway voucher on 8, Peter Miller got the Pizza voucher on 13, Andrew Johnston collects Stu’s ball on 15 and Bryan Ussher on 18. On Wednesday 1 September the ladies played their monthly medal stroke round. Division 1 (scratch to 25) was won by Sue Brooks (13) with net 68 from Dianne O’Leary (22) on 69 on countback from Maxine Townsend. Sue also won the Gross with her 81. In Division 2 (26 to 34) Faye Hopkins (33) was

the winner with net 66 from Jan Harris (28) 72. Gross winner was Wendy Welch (Mullumbimby) 99. Division 3 (35 to 45) was won by Lillian Lukins (35) with 60 net from Suzanne O’Donnell (37) with 73. Lillian also won the Gross with her 104. Other good rounds from Leanne Welsh 71, Coral McCann Kerrie Eichorn & Cheryl Gilmour 72 – the ball rundown to 75 on countback. NTP’s went to Cheryl Gilmour, Jan Harris & Lillian Lukins on 5, Heather Gray collects the Pizza voucher on 13, Kerrie Eichorn on 18, and best putter was Glenys Thompson. On Thursday 2 September, a good field of 93 players took part in a Medley Stableford. Division 1 (scratch to 17) was won by Stuart Johnston (9) with 38 points from Thomas Wattison (15) from Urunga with 37 points. In Division 2 (18 to 23), William Mann (19) had 41 points to win from Rodney Robertson (19) with 39 points. Alvin Rapley (30) & Paul Maxwell (28) both scored 38 points in Division 3 (24 to 45), Alvin winning on the countback. Other good scores from Jeffrey Vanderwyk 39, Mark Blake & David Ogilvy 37. The Ball rundown to 33 on countback. NTP’s went to Peter Miller for the longest putt on 2, Jan Harris on 5, Joe Street on 7 and 15, Mark Blake got the Subway voucher on 8, Drew Glasson collected the Pizza Voucher on 13, and Paul Reid on 18. Saturday 4 September was a Medley Stroke and Men’s Monthly Medal sponsored by Nambucca Local Liquor. A great field of 106 players enjoyed the beautiful spring weather with a strong nor’easter later in the morning

In “C” Grade (19 to 45), Thea Kimber (28) and Neil Duffus both tied with the best scores of the day with net 65, Thea winning on the countback, and the Men’s Medal goes to Neil. Other good scores from Mark Blake & Colin Dunne 66, Robert Reid 68, Christian Knight, Kel McGoldrick & Garry Thurlow 69. The Ball rundown to 72 on countback. NTP’s went to Colin Dunne for the “Ecomist” longest putt on 2, Alvin Rapley on 5, Stephen Carr on 7, Stephen Kimber on Subway’s 8, Bruce Berry collects Stu’s ball on 15 & Anthony Smith on 18. Drew Glasson thought his name was already on the Pizza Voucher for the 13th hitting it to a very close 5 cms, only to be knocked off by Mark Blake who holed out for an Eagle 5 pointer – this is Mark’s second Hole in One in the last two weeks – amazing! Congratulations Mark – a very special achievement – there are many single markers that haven’t got their first Hole in One yet! Monthly Medals are being re-cast and will be provided to the winners when to hand. Eclectic results have been updated and Gross is available on your Member’s Portal – Gross and Net will be on the Golf Notice Board – there is only 5 shots separating the top 10 in the Gross and only 3 shots in the Net – it’s still anybody’s race!
