By Mick BIRTLES WENDY Campbell, owner of Wendy’s Coiffure in Nambucca Heads, has reached the remarkable milestone of 50 years in business. Established on 4 December 1975, Wendy’s Coiffure has been a constant presence in the town for half a century. Wendy opened her salon at just 21 years of age, a young country girl from Bowraville, a vision, and the courage to back herself at a time when female business owners were far less common.
