Rotary Club’s Christmas Carols A Huge Success By Heather SHARP
ROTARY’S annual Medowie Christmas Carols, held at Ferodale Oval in Medowie on Friday night, was a resounding success. Light rain earlier in the evening did not deter the crowds with well over 1000 people in attendance. School groups provided much of the entertainment, along with soloist Miss Laura Yeomans, and a special Christmas message from the Overflow Church’s Pastor David Deal. President of the Rotary Club, Mr Geoffrey Hamilton, with his team of volunteers, did a wonderful job of coordinating the event. Mr Hamilton told Medowie News Of The Area, “It’s been a wonderful evening, definitely a success.”
