Butcher carves out national success STROUD butcher Mick Henrickson has proven his skills on the national stage, placing seventh in the prestigious Australian Butcher Wars competition held in Sydney earlier this month. Representing Stroud Butchery, Mick competed against some of the most talented butchers from across the country in a fast-paced showdown of precision, creativity, and craftsmanship. The event, part of the annual Meatstock Festival, celebrates the art of butchery and showcases the passion behind the trade. Mick's performance was a standout, impressing both judges and spectators

A FREE weekly newspaper today in Port Macquarie. launches Independent media company News Of The Area (NOTA), who operate newspapers across the Mid North Coast and Hunter regions, welcome an eighth community to the fold with the launch of Port Macquarie News Of The Area.
