Memorial triathlon

A ‘beautiful’ morning as Dungog remembers By Lisa WISEMAN THE community came out in force on Anzac Day to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who’ve served, and recognise the lasting legacy of the ANZAC spirit. More than 250 people attended a dawn service at the Dungog RSL war memorial. According to Dungog RSL sub-Branch representatives, the turnout was a lot bigger than expected and far surpassed last year’s attendance. The much-needed rain held off during the service and thick fog did not dampen spirits.
