he Chico News & Review has hosted the Best of Chico contest for 29 years, thanks to the experts—our readers—having strong opinions on what’s “best” about our community. We want to thank everyone who voted and helped make this year’s contest such a success. Your votes counted in giving recognition to the hardworking businesspeople and community members who were recognized in one of the CN&R’s most popular issues of the year. Those who took top honors in Best of Chico were invited to a disco-themed celebration at the Chico Women’s Club. That party was a blast. We’d like to thank our volunteer bartenders from Butte Humane Society, along with several amazing contributing business partners: New Clairvaux Vineyard, Bacio Catering & Carry Out, Shubert’s Ice Cream & Candy, and Passion for Life Photography.
