Introduction

What does the future hold for Artists?

Never have the arts been so abundant, rich, diverse and of such quality Yet the market laws, the lack of interest from institutions, the careerism of Art actors, the decline of galleries, the disappearance of passions in favor of marketing, are pushing creators to their limits

The public is also taken hostage, flooded with images and meaningless symbols Official Art has become a fair to the world where the inovation of absurdity and the blatant lack of artistic passions dominate: some artists sell their souls while arrogant and boring professionals no longer lift their eyes from their laptops

This assessment of our time is irrefutable, but was it better before? How was it during the glorious classical era and the modern revolution? I have read many biographies and none of them were written in periods that were easy for artists to live in In fact, we are now living in the happiest and most promising period

An artist can never escape his passion; this passion consumes him and pushes him to express himself with his own language, to share, to fraternize with an audience eager to participate in the great artistic adventure that characterizes the human species

We must remain wild and pure, cultivate our secret garden, and create without limits and with passion Let's act on our Art to sublimate it and subjugate the spectator to the point that he can only make it his own, love it and defend it passionately

The Artist needs no one but his own passion to move mountains, alone against all, alone against the market, alone against ignorance He must reinvent himself constantly and project his spirit so that a new world of passion and beauty can burst forth

VERONIQUE BOURDON

MARTINIQUE

Véronique Bourdon is a self-taught mixed media ar tist who collects, assembles and superimposes various materials on a background of cold tones warmed with vibrant colourful touches. Her work is rooted somewhere of f the beaten track, at the edge of f iguration and abstraction, at the precise place where the material is celebrated. While the ar tist is clearly an abstract painter, she sometimes steps outside of these conf ines, by not attempting to clear the canvas of all discernible, recurring form throughout her works. Objects slowly become familiar, figurative and delirious, projections of a subconscious so often magnified in the practices of surrealists. From time to time, it is numbers and letters that emerge from underneath the material and then appear as geographical coordinates of a still unknown destination, whose untitled works complete the enigma. Véronique Bourdon's work should be seen as an invitation to travel, and her paintings will be our ship.

MIGUEL CADIERGUES

FRANCE

My works vary according to my mood and state of mind as soon as I sit in front of a blank canvas. I am inspired by the daily life of this world. Nothing is premeditated. I like when the public questions, opens his mind, exceeds his limits, his brakes, dig deep inside him, smiles or even grimaces. It belongs to him, it is his emotions. Ar t invites to travel, to escape. Whether one is an ar tist, an amateur, an admirer, a collector, a spectator ... he heals us, soothes us, moves us. That's why ar t is life. So let's share, travel, dream.

FRANÇOIS DÉSIRÉ

FRANCE

Born in 1961, François Désiré is an autodidact. His inspiration comes from the news but also from the emotion that give him literature and music. Admiring the technique and work of classical painters, he is especially passionate about the ar tists’ works from the XXth century. Some years to mature his ar t have been necessary. His f irst paintings were created f ifteen years ago. What he prefers is to work the colors and materials. For that, he does not hesitate to mix various pictorial techniques.

PIERRE CHERBIT

FRANCE

Pierre Cherbit has been painting for over twenty years. His painting is primarily the expression of a feeling, without a physical medium : he uses neither photos, or model, or background. It is pure inspiration which guides him through the use of the noblest painting materials, alternating the arrangement of the dif ferent pictorial techniques, allowing him to use color and light in a unique manner.Pierre Cherbit adores exploring and has exposed himself to the richests cultures of the world. He is graduate of the 'Institut National des Langues Orientales', and speaks Chineese, Tibetan, Spanish and he is curently studying literary Sanscrit.Pierre Cherbit brings an ar tistic revival to the world of painting, possibly initiating the dawn of a new ar tistic movement.

LAURENT PHEULPIN

My passion for photography emerged 15 years ago. After a brief stint in landscape, I discovered the studio and its limitless possibilities. As a former chemist, I still don’ t know if light is made of waves or par ticles, but I enjoy playing with it by orientating my f lashes wherever my fancy takes me. my chiaroscuro photo series explores the theme of individualism by default or by excess. The light can indeed dissolve the subject or struggle to reveal it.

GILLES POIRIER

Ar tist since 1989 I'm Gilles Poirier and I paint since 1989. Colours, as a painter is the most impor tant thing for me. I love to use bright and hot colours in contrast with cold and dark ones. My latest paintings are under the collection "Stains and Prints". The central idea is about movement and colours. Colours of a stain and movement of human or animal prints or the movement of the sea or wind. But of course, you can see whatever you want. In previous paintings "Panic in the city" I played with perspectives in a more naive style. More information: www.powar t.com

INGRID BERG

Ingrid Berg expresses her ar t with a rare sensitivity. Fascinated by movement and its representation, her abstractions are full of life; her portraits and bodies convey a sense of authenticity. The ar tist combines styles to go beyond reality, manipulating time and space to arrive at truth in its purest. Berg's work is the result of a process of meditation. From this contact with energies emerges a painting of dazzling and sensitive beauty that gives form to a process of becoming guided by the quest for purity. In work after work, the artist ’s objective is to heal and cultivate the souls of those who view her ar t.

MARTIN GAUDREAULT

Biography and ar tistic approach : Mar tin Gaudreault, photographer of the great outdoors. Born in Lac St-Jean, this original blueberry has been taking photographs for many years. Self-taught photographer, Mar tin is an image hunter, he interprets landscapes and his compositions are paintings that inspire ref lection. These photographs ref lect passionate work and expose the meticulous details of nature. Artistic approach : Passionate about the changing colours of the seasons, his photographs ref lect the contemplation and appreciation of the landscapes of our world. The capture of each moment becomes the testimony of his vision on the world in which we live. For Mar tin, a photograph is not only an image captured on the spot, it is also the expression of the photographer who feels emotions through his digital eye and transposes them according to his human values.

Philippe CLAVERIN "URBEXOPHIL"

FRANCE

Philippe Claverin, 41 years old, amateur ar tist photographer for a long time with a very strong attraction for stolen moments pictures. Curious by nature and silence worshipper.I am passionate about the works built by man, used and then being abandoned. I like to think that we are only passing through « here on Ear th » and, as time goes on, only these constructions remain. It is a sor t of common heritage that passes through the ages and that I love to photograph today. Being alone in the silence of a place that once was f illed with the human and mechanical "hubbub" provides a par ticular excitement, I can assure you. I nur ture my creativity with the emotion and energy that emerge, most of the time, from the places I visit and my purpose is to show this emotion with my shots, by any means. However, this practice is not without risks and can be severely punished by law, so I explore it in a considered manner in each of my shootings.

LARUE

FRANCE

I've ever wished to paint, but I used to postpone the moment to star t it. I signed "Larue" at school my very f irst drawings due to dyslexia, so I decided to carry on signing this way. When my dad was dead, my mother had to sell her house and had to get rid of old things, she found an old easel, a hundred of paint brushes and some Virgin canvases, he wanted to star t ar t painting when he'd been retired. He died before being retired. I received the Virgin canvases, the paint brushes and the old easel and started to paint on December 2016. I mostly paint by night because of the silence of the night. I do respect the art principles of making my own drawings before painting, as it is the only way to be true and to transmit my soul. I am passionate by strong colours and ref lects, I began to paint por trait just as negative photos, so by using a smar tphone negative f ilter you discover the real face. I do like this way to make por traits because there are two paintings in one, modern and conventional and it matches our time, using a phone to see its real colors.

FRANCE

We are two artists, producing together drawings made first with traditional tools (ink, pen, charcoal...) and then transformed on a computer, using numerical painting in order to improve the complexity of compositions, add textures, colors, and create specif ic atmospheres. We link opposites like life & death, f lesh & bones, childhood & mor tality, real & dreams. We are fond of places full of mystery and enigma, weird and baroque atmospheres, ruins and forests as sanctuaries. We also unify figurative and abstract paintings that appear complementary to us as you can discover in our web site.

JEAN-JACQUES VITIELLO

Jean Jacques Vitiello, an incurable dreamer in search of the spirit of creation, gives life to an ar t where one perceives a subtle sense of continuity, a common thread that follows the soul of his characters, a concentrate of strength and intense vision. Meticulous and up to observer, the ar tist focuses on every detail, creating an elaboration that is attentive to detail and nuances, allowing the viewer to admire a work that ranges from black and white hyper-realism of the faces in the foreground, a f igurative imbued with symbolism with soft and warm colors never intrusive. With a remarkable expressive ability, the ar tist puts us in direct contact with his character, in an immediate dialogue that releases energy and creates an explosion of sensations. Jean Jacques Vitiello succeeds in transferring an invaluable and unforgettable instant with infinite mastery, in which reality and tenderness converge to confirm an artistic expression pervaded by poetry, an intense testimony of pure emotion, a true hymn to life..

My name is Blanka - Blinx Kriz and I was born in 1971 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. In 1991, I graduated from the College for Design and Photography in Ljubljana. I have always had a keen interest in many f ields of ar t, so I decided to continue my studies in London - where I f inished two years of studies in f ields of graphic design and illustration. After I have completed my studies in London, I returned to Ljubljana, where I attended the Institute for conservation and restoration of frescoes and paintings. In 2008, I finished my PhD in Cultural Studies. During all my years of study I explored dif ferent fields of ar t, so after this I could say that my ar tistic approach is free and dedicated to the changes; to explore, to combine all my knowledge with discovering a new materials and tools to work with; f inding new techniques and to combine them with tehnicque that I already know and to experiment with them (to give them a new level of use). Challenges are my main guide -for me there is no borders and everything is possible to be done in this space of inf inity choeces.

GÉRALDINE GAMBY

FRANCE

I live in Nice, in a peaceful place among olive trees I am a painter, and an Ayurvedic massage therapist I studied art in high school and I spent two years at the Academy of Arts in Valence, Drôme I have a Buddhist spiritual culture and a look that has awakened in contact with my existence and my experiences. I looked differently thanks to my spiritual path and contemplation to the human and his thoughts, to nature, to the elements and from my inner looks and my reflections. By practicing meditation, pranic healing and massages in contact with the invisible I discovered another dimension, another language The one of the intention, the feeling, the emotions that go through all forms of life and that connect us all The one of giving thanks in the moment which is simply prayer and its power of materialization I understood that I could give life in painting to these wishes of healing, compassion and transmit through the canvas as a pictorial prayer, loading it with qualities that we could nurture, develop, integrate. The canvas is iconic and invites us to meditation and contemplation. Every painting I make is immersed in the light; inner light, adamantine provided with pure and creative force, revealing and radiant of what is of each being. The outer light and the pranic energy revealing what is materialized and materiality Each deity represented, bears the divine and sacred part of each of us It poetically delivers a message and carries qualities that we are invited to develop and nurture Everything is in reliance with nature, the elements and our nature

CAROLINE GASCH

FRANCE

Caroline Gasch achieves the feat of making us feel good with superb photographs : urban landscapes with color and light at the center of everything. She travels to cities all over the world where she handpicks cityscapes that she shoots and scenography at dif ferent moments of the day to create a unique piece of ar t where the color light is at work to create a surrealistic esthetic, as if painted on canvas. The perception of the world comes from our brains and is the result of information gathered by our senses. Caroline Gasch shapes light in superb urban landscapes, which may seem familiar to us, to reminds us that our surroundings are more profound than what we think we can see, encouraging us to question ourselves about our own perception of reality.

FRANCE

Lovers of color, of life, this ar tist is agitated in the conf luence of sound and light. He tells stories through feathers and ropes, at the limit of the proper. From his bir th, Jean-Phil bathed his mind in pencils, brushes and sheet music. Painter, musician, visual ar tist, he expresses himself with the help of media and innovative tools: comics, paintings, drawings, guitar, keyboard, multi-media installations, nothing resists him.

ERIC DOIREAU

The artist assures us that the lack of af fect decals the new identities. In his critical theory of the image, Eric Doireau develops the idea that the gestation of absence samples facticity. The language of maturity signals the past, especially as the relevance of elegance transforms the debate. The relationship between ar tists and specif iers leaves us to guess that the arrangement of communication hides historiality. From the Renaissance, and Leonardo da Vinci emitted the idea in a visionary way, the chance of temporality implements enlightenment.

FRANCE

Artist Photographer, I create works from my photography by manually applying the methods of Graphism and digital painting. I am a Photo-Graphic Designer! My ar tistic approach of the moment, inspired by the works of many painters, is ar ticulated around two convergent disciplines, to transform simple elements in surreal world. From a very f ine photographic work, I apply layer by layer my interpretation of the light with the help of digital painting, leaving the imagination of everyone to take over. This is how my photographs become paintings

My artistic approach is intuitive and constantly evolving with the main theme: the square.I use mixed techniques (collage, stencils, f ingerprints), dif ferent materials as suppor t (canvas and wood) and various paints (oil, plastic enamel and acrylic) applied with brushes and aerosols. My paintings are created as an object made atom by atom or as every second added to our existence. It is the expression of a quiet routine or an infernal cycle. The movement of a daily newspaper After applying a layer of black "Gesso" or another color, I paint a grid, the size of the canvas, with a corrugated cardboard, which I paint splines with a roll, which is then pressed on the fabric lengthwise and then widthwise to form quar ter-inch (6 mm) squares. Subsequently, I paint each square with a 1/4 inch (6 mm) brush. What makes my layer of funds on which I make the f inal work with other techniques: a geometric abstraction, a landscape, an urban scene or a por trait. After a few years developing this technique, I discovered that it is similar to neo-impressionism initiated at the beginning of the 20th century.I try to use mainly form and color for a composition punctuated by geometric plans that interpenetrate creating sensations of space, depth and light.

JEAN PIERRE TACHON

When I was student at the Lyon School of Ar t ( Ecole Nationale des Beaux Ar ts), I developed an interest in pictures and graphic design, a combination of rigour and colorimetry. A trip to New York City was a catalyst for my current pictorial perspective. After having focused on the structures of contemporary archirecture, where colour spreads out amongst ver tical and horizontal shapes, I now continue to explore this geometrical world which I have come to represent in an abstract way, whilst leaving room for imagination.
