INGREDIENTS:
• 1 pound Brussels sprouts
• 2 tablespoons crushed garlic
• 1 tablespoon Perfeito All-Purpose
Seasoning
• 1 tablespoon coconut aminos*
• 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
*Coconut aminos is a dark-colored sauce similar to soy sauce. Made from the sap of the coconut plant, it is fermented to create its savory flavor.
1. Prepare the Brussels Sprouts
• Trim off and discard the bottom ends and any wilted or discolored leaves.
• Slice each Brussels sprout in half lengthwise.
2. Season the Brussels Sprouts
• Sprinkle the halved Brussels sprouts with Perfeito.
3. Cook the Garlic and Oil
• Heat 1 tablespoon of coconut oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
• Add crushed garlic and sauté until it turns lightly golden.
4. Sauté the Brussels Sprouts
• Add the seasoned Brussels sprouts to the skillet.
• Toss them in the garlic oil, cooking until tender and slightly browned (about 5–7 minutes).
5. Add Coconut Aminos
• Drizzle the coconut aminos over the Brussels sprouts in the last minute of cooking. Toss to combine, then serve hot.
