The February/March issue of Leading Architecture and Design has an emphasis on corporate architecture, with three of its four features projects showcasing new advances in this area. They include Oxford & Glenhove in the burgeoning Rosebank area of Johannesburg, with its dramatically tilted façade, as well as the nearby Sappi building, both of which respond in interesting ways to the area’s changing urban profile. In Bryanston, the Knightsbridge Office Park embraces the idea of the urban forest as a way to advance the typology. As a complete counterpoint, we also feature a spectacular private lodge in the Mjejane Game Reserve. This issue also includes dedicated sections with useful news, features, industry updates, products and projects relating to walling and cladding, lightweight steel frame building, flooring, and an interior design focus on bathrooms.
