ADMISSION
NEC Nursing completes a holistic admission review for every applicant. In addition to NEC’s general application requirements, nursing applicants must provide the following admission requirements.
Application Requirements:
• Overall GPA (3.12 average for first-year, applicants, 3.0 for transfers) • Grade of C or better in science, math, and English/writing courses • Two letters of recommendation • Personal essay • LNA licensure a plus • TEAS, SAT, or ACT scores optional (TEAS must be within one year for transfers) • Interview optional or upon request
• Make a positive difference in the lives and health of others. • Lead by example. • Earn a bachelor’s degree in three years. • Identify problems and enthusiastically seek solutions. • Commit to high achievement. • Earn money while earning college credit.

New England College has not yet determined whether its clinical, cooperative BSN program meets educational requirements for initial licensure for states outside New Hampshire.
