Recycling on campus: small actions, big impact

At Northeastern University London, we’re proud of our beautiful campus – and we all share responsibility for keeping it clean, sustainable, and welcoming.

Recycling isn’t just about bins, it’s about respect. Respect for the environment, for the community, and for the place where you live and learn. By recycling properly and disposing of waste responsibly, you help us:

• reduce our environmental footprint

• support global sustainability efforts

• maintain a clean and enjoyable space for everyone

Top tips

• look for clearly marked recycling bins across campus

• don’t contaminate recycling with food or liquids

• use the right bin – when in doubt, ask! Together, small actions make a big difference.

Let’s keep our campus a space we’re all proud of.
