Orsino instructs Cesario to help him win the affections of another lady, but she falls in love with Cesario instead of Orsino. The Opera House was built in 1881 and dedicated in 1882 as City Hall housing the mayor’s office, police chief’s office, jail cells, fire wagon bays, and a performance hall. When City Hall was moved to College St., the entire building was remodeled as a performing arts center in 1998.
