A MESSAGE FROM THE CEO Tonight is the culmination of what’s been an incredible season of the Gold Industry Group West Australian Netball League. I am incredibly proud of all the athletes, coaches, umpires and Netball WA staff who adapted and worked together to make sure the competition would go ahead this season. We accommodated to the challenging year by implementing a number of double-header weekends which were well received and we saw games not only played at the Gold Netball Centre but also Eaton, Mandurah, Mundaring and Curtin University. This year we welcomed Peel Lightning to the eight-team competition, we also signed a broadcast deal with The West Australian, which live-streamed two games a week, providing greater exposure for our sport. It has been an incredibly competitive season across all three grades. There were plenty of close results, none closer than the Preliminary Final last week between the Sharks and Comets which went into overtime. Our competition continues to go from strength to strength and tonight we will no doubt see more highly skilled performances. I wish all six competing Grand Final teams the very best of luck.
