A Note From the President
David Jankowski, PGA
Dear Vermont Chapter Members,
It is with great excitement that I step into the role of Vermont Chapter President for the next two years. My guiding principle to leave things better than you found them will inform my time in this role. I look forward to working with all of you to strengthen our chapter, support our fellow professionals, and continue building a community we can all be proud of.
Thank you to all members who have volunteered to lead our committees and help guide us into the future Your commitment and passion are what make this chapter strong.
Following the success of the 2025 season, we are excited about the opportunities 2026 holds, including an excellent lineup of educational opportunities and new tournament offerings. A major highlight is the Stroke Play Championship moving to August 3rd and 4th, thanks to the support of the staff at Burlington and Vermont National Additionally, we plan to build on the momentum created last year by the Scholarship Committee's student contribution.
I extend an open invitation to anyone who wishes to volunteer, bring new ideas to the board, or share concerns I am always available and welcome every opportunity to connect; please feel free to reach out to me directly at david@golfgaragevt.com.

Champions Corner
STROKE PLAY/SENIOR CHAMPION DAVID JANKOWSKI, PGA
Two for the price of one! In his first season as a Senior professional, David Jankowski (Golf Garage VT) captured both the Overall and Senior Stroke Play titles with a score of 1-over 143 (72-71). This was Jankowski’s 4 consecutive title and 6 overall, giving him the most in Chapter history.
MATCH PLAY CHAMPION KEVIN BENNISON, PGA
Burlington CC’s Kevin Bennison captured the 2025 Match Play Championship at Ekwanok CC. Bennison was displayed great determination winning four closely contested matches, including a 19 hole match in the semi-finals Bennison defeated Curt Goldsberry 2&1 in the final match to win the title
PLAYER OF THE YEAR DAVID JANKOWSKI, PGA
The 2025 Farrell Distributing Player of the Year is David Jankowski, who totaled 279 points for the season. In addition to his Stroke Play victory, he also recorded first place finishes at the Rutland CC Pro-Am, CCVT Pro-Am, Pro-Senior, and Dorset Pro-Am
