A Note From the President

Dear Massachusetts Chapter Professionals,

As we bring the 2025 season to a close, I would like to express my appreciation for your continued dedication to the Massachusetts Chapter Your engagement throughout the year; whether in competition, at meetings, or in support of fellow professionals; played a meaningful role in the success of our schedule and initiatives

This season featured several notable competitive highlights. Malcolm Oliver, PGA, captured the Chapter Championship with a bogey-free round of 69 at Foxborough Country Club. Ryan Riley earned the Mass Chapter Madness title following an impressive series of victories Todd Cook, PGA, was once again named Player of the Year, marking his second consecutive season earning the honor through steady, consistent play. Our events continued to be well supported, and I want to extend my thanks to each host facility and PGA Professional who welcomed the Chapter this year. Your hospitality, along with the involvement of our partners, remains essential to the strength of our schedule.

This season also brought the loss of Honorary President David Sibley, whose passing was felt deeply across our community. David was a respected colleague and a long-time friend to many His professionalism, generosity, and steady presence made a lasting impact on the Chapter. We offer our sincere condolences to his family and to all who knew him.

As always, the foundation of our Chapter is built on the professionalism and integrity of its members I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as your President and appreciate the support you have shown throughout the year.

Champions Corner

CHAPTER CHAMPION MALCOLM OLIVER, PGA

Malcolm Oliver captured the 2025 Mass Chapter Championship with a bogey free round of 69 (-3) at Foxborough CC Oliver held off a talented field of 54 Mass Chapter Professionals with Bob Bruso and Jeff Martin finishing one and two shots behind respectively.

MASS MADNESS CHAMPION RYAN RILEY

Now in its fourth year of existence, Mass Chapter Madness has become a Chapter staple 32 Chapter professionals competed once again this year with Golf Academy of NE’s Ryan Riley being the last man standing. Coming in as the #23 seed, Riley recorded five upsets on the way to the title.

PLAYER OF THE YEAR TODD COOK, PGA

For the second consecutive season, Todd Cook has won the Massachusetts Chapter Player of the Year! Todd found himself consistently near the top of the leaderboard throughout the season, including a T7 finish at the Chapter Champ and a 2 place finish in the Mass Madness Bracket nd
