Dear prospective buyer, We’ve loved living in our home on Sutherland Road for the past 4 years. This was the place we brought our son home to after being born at Holy Cross just down the road, and it holds many beautiful memories. He was born with a rare genetic disorder, and if it weren’t for seeking specialized medical care for him in Boston, we wouldn’t be leaving. We stumbled upon this neighborhood and have always felt so lucky that we did. Our neighbors include those who grew up in their home and remained to raise families of their own alongside new families, and every stage in between. Regardless of where they’re at in life, everyone is incredibly welcoming and eager to look after one another. Our favorite part about our neighborhood, besides our neighbors, is the easy access to Sligo Creek Trail. It’s such a wonderful way to explore the area and enjoy nature! We also love being so close to downtown Silver Spring - it makes errands and nights out a breeze! Zinnia, just down the road, is our favorite - the only thing better than their food is their beautiful garden, it’s such a welcoming gathering spot. 9605 Sutherland will always hold a special place in our hearts. We consider ourselves fortunate to have lived here, contributed to its history, and made lifelong friends along the way. We know that it will serve its next owners just as well.
