Re: Conference Wide Day of Prayer 2025

Greetings to you in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

In light of the growing social, economic, and spiritual challenges facing our nation, the North East Jamaica Conference of Seventh-day Adventists recognizes the urgent need for divine intervention. As a people of faith committed to holistic community transformation, we planned a Conference-Wide Day of Prayer on Sabbath, August 2, 2025 under the theme “United in Prayer for National Transformation.”

This sacred gathering, in each church, will be a time of united prayer, repentance, and recommitment inviting God’s guidance over our schools, churches, families, civic institutions, and national affairs. The challenges of crime, poverty, moral decline, youth disengagement, and natural disasters cannot be solved by human effort alone. We need God's power and presence to bring healing and hope.

We are therefore asking you to extend a special invitation to community leaders, civic leaders and representatives of the security forces to join in worship and prayer. Their participation symbolizes our shared commitment to justice, peace, and national well -being. We believe that when we come together in humility and unity addressing common causes, powerful change can occur in our communities.

Together, we will pray:

● For the safety and integrity of our leaders and public servants.

● For peace in our communities and the reduction of crime.

● For guidance in shaping policies that uplift the vulnerable.

● For revival in our churches and righteousness in our land.

This initiative seeks not only to intercede but also to inspire greater collaboration between the church and community for the good of all Jamaicans.

As we unite in prayer for our communities and the Nation, we are recommending that you be guided by the programme outlined below: -
