The Prescott Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1910. Soon after, it took on the name of the Yavapai County Chamber of Commerce, but eventually regained its former identity of the Prescott Chamber and has stayed that way ever since. Today, the Chamber is active and providing leadership in many community events, while maintaining its interest in helping businesses succeed.
With over 1000 Chamber members strong and growing, the Prescott Chamber is ranked #9 in the state. The Chamber is a significant asset to the community, offering a wealth of programs and events for the entire community to enjoy and appreciate.
The Chamber also runs a comprehensive State designated Visitor Information Center with information about Prescott and the surrounding communities. Over 30,000 come through our front doors annually looking for information about the area, Chamber members and information about other cities around the state.

We head into 2020 with our vision reflective of The Prescott Chamber of Commerce’s commitment to the advocacy of our member businesses. The groundwork that our staff members, ambassadors and volunteers have laid the past couple of years have paved the way to attract and encourage new business while supporting and promoting existing ones. Chamber Ambassadors are comprised of experienced business experts who volunteer to support the mission of the Prescott Chamber of Commerce and to represent our core values to the Prescott community. Ambassadors welcome new Chamber members, serve as greeters at events and volunteer in various other ways. Ambassadors wear name tags at Chamber events so they are easily recognizable to new members. VISITOR INFORMATION CENTER VOLUNTEERS
Prescott Chamber’s Visitor Information Center is staffed by a dedicated group of local residents who are excited to tell you all about Prescott and our diverse state. Our volunteers welcome visitors and locals to the area, assist with sending relocation/ visitor packets, man the phones, conduct tours and much more for our community.
