Lord, I thank you for bringing me through another season or year. Thank you for all the love and lessons this season has brought. Lord, I just ask that I love people so well this season, that they wonder what has changed about me and what to know you. God we both know this year/season life has been stretching me and at times I wasn’t sure what would happen or even where I would end up but you kept me every step of the way and I thank you for that. Thank you for the healing, protection, and blessing me, especially when I was unaware of the danger. I know that with following you comes a new way of doing life and I ask that you fill me up with so much of you that whatever breaks your heart breaks mine as well. Thank you for never letting go of me. God, I ask you to help me to turn my triggers into my testimonies. I don't want to be gifted with no real power. Allow me to be okay with the uncomfortable for I know you are just stretching me. I know that You never require us to give up anything that you wouldn’t replace 100x over. Remove who you need to remove in my life, and add who you need to add in my life, I want what only you have for me. It’s my job to be obedient and know You're responsible for outcomes. God, allow me to be the answer to someone ' s prayer in this new season. I trust you every step of the way for you are the way the life and the truth.
In Jesus' name - Amen Editor-in-Chief Erin Kelley
SEED READING:
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
Isaiah 40:31

When asking God for anything we want to make sure that this request is in his will or that we are asking God for the right things, for example, I am unhappy with life, things aren't going right at work or home. So I ask God to “Come in and free me from all my worries.” Now that’s good to request to be set free but we should be asking God to come in and deliver us from the spirits/ strongholds/habits that are keeping us from him, to show us his will for us, and to clear out what is not sent by Him. (We will get into detail prayers, or “how to pray” later). Once, the request is known unto heaven comes the waiting season for the harvest of that planted seed.
Your seed is your prayers, praise, and tithes/offerings. When we do these acts we are not only thanking, honoring, and praising God, but also at times asking for things. The seed is the act of faith that needs to be exchanged for the request to work, then it is the praising or waiting season where the request is being worked on. Last comes the harvest, or the seeing/results of our request and praise. It’s like taking a seed, planting it in the ground, and waiting for it to sprout fruit to eat. While you wait you water it, weed it, fertilize it, and even sometimes speak to it. This is the same process God takes, He wants the exchange of our praise for his blessings.

A magazine is a periodical publication, which can either be printed or published electronically. It is issued regularly, usually every week or every month, and it contains a variety of content. This can include articles, stories, photographs, and advertisements.
To create your own, choose a topic that interests you. It can be anything from fashion and beauty to travel and the news. Once you have your overall theme, you can start brainstorming the content. Just starting? Design a memorable masthead with an equally memorable name. This goes on the cover and sets up the branding for your entire magazine. What style are you going for? Is it playful? Classic? Bold? A good masthead captures the essence of your magazine, so it needs to be flexible, meaningful, and consistent enough for future issues.
Next, think of a compelling feature for your cover story. This will be what draws your audience in. Make sure that you have accompanying visual content that immediately catches the eye. Include photos, illustrations, and other graphics to match. Appeal to your audience, choose the right fonts and images, and you'll have a magazine that people will remember for years to come.

WOMEN OF THE WORD
A STUDY GUIDE FOR BELIEVES TO HELP UNDERSTAND THE BIBLE
Women of the Word is a book cultivated for anyone looking to deepen their study habits and relationship with God. This book is for new and seasoned believers. It may be called Women of the Word but believe me, this book is more for women regardless of the title. In Women of the Word, Jen Wilkins breaks down a study philosophy to help readers better interpret the word and understand the context behind reading. Bible literacy is important for believers for us to not only understand the word but also to interpret and grow our faith and discernment with God. Jen Wilkins calls Bible literary, “when a person has access to a Bible and a language that they understand instantly moving towards the knowledge and understanding of the text.”
In Women of the Word, Wilkins introduces a process called “The 5 P’s.” This study technique will help us increase our literacy of the Bible. She breaks down these 5 p’s into Purpose, Perspective, Patience, Process, and Prayer. The first P to study with purpose means what is the purpose of the text. The author, Jen explains to us that there are macro and micro themes throughout the Bible. When reading you should first identify the macro theme, or the big story. Jen explains that the Bible has four macro themes, the story of creation, the flood, redemption, and restoration. Within the big story are one thousand smaller stories. Jen helps us understand when we are fuzzy about the big stories we may have difficulty finding the smaller ones. We want to be able to understand the connection between God of the Old Testament and God of the New Testament, not that they are two different Gods but to help us make correlations that may become helpful later in our reading. Our goal in this first step is to search for the theme as we study.

Here, you can place a caption for the photo. It can be a short description or it can credit the production team.
