Neil Druker

Neil Druker is an investment manager, fund founder, and former management consultant whose career in finance and strategy began in 1989. Based in Boston, Massachusetts, Neil Druker is the Founder and Managing Member of Melanie Lane Holdings GP, LLC, where he manages pooled investment vehicles for institutions, high-net-worth individuals, and family offices across private and public markets, including U.S. and international equity and debt instruments. Neil Druker developed significant institutional investment experience through the Pangaea group of funds. He joined Pangaea as a principal in 1995 and became President in 2000. Over the following decade, he managed portfolios with peak assets under management of approximately $600 million. His responsibilities extended beyond research and security selection to include hiring, mentoring, investment decisions, risk management, and accountability to investors. That experience shaped Neil Druker's view that investing and portfolio construction are separate disciplines. Choosing an investment is only part of the process. Position sizing, understanding a portfolio's true exposures, identifying hidden risks, and preparing for the consequences of a failed thesis require a broader level of responsibility and judgment. Since 2023, Neil Druker has served as Managing Member of Melanie Lane Holdings GP, LLC. The firm's mandate is intentionally broad, covering private and public securities, domestic and international markets, and both equity and debt instruments. This flexibility allows capital to move toward areas that may offer a more favorable balance between price and risk, rather than remaining committed to one asset class under all market conditions. His academic foundation began at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 1989 with a 4.0 grade point average and finished first academically in his graduating class.
