I haven’t watched the MTV Video Music Awards since … oh, probably around the time *NSYNC was still a certified group. So when word leaked out that they would be reuniting at this year’s ceremony in honor of Justin Timberlake receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, well, you can imagine the hysteria which erupted among their longtime fans. In the days leading up to the big broadcast, you couldn’t escape the rumor mill – on TV, radio,
newspapers and especially social media – all buzzing with the possibility of a few moments of nostalgia. Twenty and thirtysomethings were instantly transported back to their glory days – back when music was more about the melody than what the artist was (or wasn’t, as the case may be) wearing, the staging, the choreography and all that nonsense. Sure, *NSYNC may not be every musical connoisseur’s idea of a deep, meaningful musical experience – but considering some of what is out there on the charts

As a volunteer, you would provide haircuts for people in the community who are facing life limiting illnesses. This is an invaluable service for our clients and one which is in high demand! Volunteers are asked to provide 2-4 haircuts per month. Hospice provides orientation sessions to our organization as well as ongoing support and mentorship. Flotilla 01-01 Public Education Officer, will be held at the West Babylon High School from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on September 17th, September 24th, October 1st and October 15th. This course is taught by qualified instructors from Flotilla 01-01. Topics covered include Introduction To Boating, Boating Law, Boating Safety Equipment, Safe Boating, Navigation, Aids To Navigation, Boating Problems and Trailering. In addition, students will also receive instruction in marlinspike, which covers the basic nautical knots, and a segment on proper radio procedure. Upon successful completition of the course, students will receive a certificate acceptable to New York State for the

About Boating Safety operation of recreational boats or Personal Water Craft (PWC). Many boat insurers offer discounts to boaters who have successfully completed a boating class. Tracy and her sister arrived at the funeral home early to see their father before the wake began. As they approached the casket, their first thought was, “This cannot be our dad.” Their father had always sported a mustache and, during his final hospitalization, his trademark whiskers were shaved off. The clean-shaven man in the casket was not the man they remembered. A quick trip to the costume shop across the street fixed their problem.
