No absentee voter’s ballot shall be canvassed unless it shall have been received in the Office of the Clerk of the School District no later than 5:00 P.M., prevailing time, on the day of the election, Tuesday, May 19, 2020. A list of all persons to whom absentee ballots shall have been issued will be available for inspection by qualified voters of the District in the said Office of the Clerk on each of the five (5) days prior to the day of election, except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., prevailing time and shall be available at the polling place on the day of the vote. Any qualified voter may, upon examination of such list, file a written challenge of the qualifications as a voter of any person whose name appears on such list, stating the reasons for such challenge and filed with the District Court on or before 9:00 p.m. on May 19, 2020. Any such written challenge shall be transmitted by the District Clerk or a designee of the Board of Education to the inspectors of election on Election Day during all hours of voting and registration. The District Clerk shall be at Election District No. 1. VOTER REGISTRATION, MILITARY BALLOT APPLICATIONS and MILITARY BALLOTS Military voters who are not currently registered may apply to register as a qualified voter of the West Babylon Union Free School District as defined by Section 2018(d)(1)(b) of the Education Law and Part 122.2 (f) of the Regulations of the New York State Commissioner

LEGALS of Education. Transmission Preference (1) A military voter may designate a preference to receive a military voter registration, military ballot application and/or military ballot by mail, facsimile transmission or electronic mail in their request for a registration application, ballot application or ballot. (2) Such designation shall remain in effect until revoked or changed by the military voter. Military voters shall inform the West Babylon Board of Education of any change in the designated transmission address or military status. (3) Military voter registration application forms must be received in the office of the clerk of the school district no earlier than April 18, 2020 and no later than May 12, 2020 or, if requested in person, by May 18,2020. (4) In order for a military voter to be issued a military ballot, the West Babylon district must have received in the office of the school district clerk, a valid ballot application not later than 5:00 p.m. of the day preceding the last day for the transmission of military ballots. (5) Ballots for military voters shall be mailed or otherwise distributed by the West Babylon Board of Education, in accordance with the military voter’s preferred method of transmission, (facsimile, electronic mail or mail), as soon as practicable, but not later than 25 days before the election. (6) Irrespective of the preferred method of transmission designed by a military voter, a military voter’s original military ballot application and military ballot must be returned by mail or in person to the appropriate District Clerk no later than 5:00 p.m. of the date of the election. (7) Nothing contained herein shall prevent a military voter from requesting and obtaining a military voter registration application, military ballot application, or military ballot in person. years before selling. Since then, however, NAR says the average expected length of time people will stay in their homes before selling is now 15 years. Part of what’s fueling this permanency is that many home buyers were able to acquire rock-bottom mortgage interest rates shortly after the 2008

recession. As a result, they’re not inclined to walk away from those rates, even if doing so means getting more house. Also, a low inventory of available houses has stymied repeat buying for many people. Those factors and others have led many homeowners to invest in renovations instead. The experts at Bankrate say realistic budgeting and comparing renovation project costs against mortgages and interests rates can further help individuals decide whether to remain in their current homes or move out. Very often a smarter layout and more efficient ﬂoor plan can make meaningful differences in spaces. Renovations and redesigns can make sense and often are less expensive and disruptive than moving.
