n December 14th, members of the Robert Moses Middle School Jazz Band attended a field trip to Jazz At Lincoln Center in New York City. The students were entertained and educated by famous jazz trumpeter Wynton Marsalis as part of a series on the music of jazz saxophonist John Coltrane. Pictured is the group on their field trip. The four year old students at the Babylon United Methodist Church Nursery School caroled through Babylon Village spreading holiday cheer to the local businesses. The children made Friendship Wreaths and were pleased to give them as gifts. “This is one of our Christmas traditions that the children and staff really look forward to. The children put smiles the
faces of everyone they sing to and it demonstrates the joy of giving gifts to others, not just receiving them,” said administrator, Lisa Murray.
