LOCAL FIREFIGHTERS RECOGNIZED - Legislator Steven J. Flotteron recognized several of Suffolk County’s bravest firefighters at the monthly legislative meeting in Hauppauge. They recently responded to a house fire in Islip Terrace and together successfully rescued a 19-year-old woman and three dogs. Their experience and training helped to ensure the safety of all those involved.
