ith students and staff dressed in red, Mt. Pleasant Elementary School in the Smithtown Central School District celebrated Red Ribbon Week on October 23rd in a unique way, by joining together to form a red ribbon. Thanks to art teacher Kathleen Lindbom, who outlined the shape of a ribbon in the field outside the school, the students gathered together to show their unity, school pride, be drug-free and make healthy choices.
