Crocheting for a Cause
T
he Hauppauge Middle School Crochet for a Cause Club recently donated 175 infant hats that were crocheted by students, faculty and staff to St. Catherine of Siena Hospital in Smithtown. Each Thursday since January, Hauppauge High School student Maia Gonzalez taught a core group of 12 to 15 female and one male student how to crochet. Pictured are several of the participants working on their skills. Thanks to all for their dedicated time and effort.
