auppauge Middle School students stepped back in time to “experience” the immigration process firsthand and to learn some of the reason why people immigrated to the U.S. during the Immigration Day program. Prior to the event, the students created an immigrant profile for themselves in their Social Studies classes. The Middle School students were divided into 22 groups – each of which was led by High School History Club members.
