Youth Yoga Instruction
T
o foster the comprehensive physical education program offered at James H. Boyd Intermediate School in the Elwood School District, students participated in a week of yoga instruction led by trained yoga instructors. As an introduction to the art of yoga, students learned basic stretches and poses to practice balance, flexibility and strength. Students were educated on the names of each stretch and completed routines of various poses.
