he Islip Animal Shelter and Adopt-a-Pet Center hosted their annual Shelter’s Choice Awards fundraiser, sponsored by Live. Love.Bark Dog Rescue, where the adoptable dogs of the shelter walked the doggie red carpet and received awards in various categories, such as “Sloppiest Kisser,” “Best Cuddler” and “Fan Favorite.” This event offered free adoptions to approved applicants, $25 micro-chipping, vendors and more.
