Postscript By: Jamie Lynn Ryan I want to begin by expressing my sincere appreciation to all those readers who took the time to reach out in the last week to express condolences on the passing of my “Pal,” to relate to the sense of loss, to the closeness felt… but, mostly, to comment on how fortunate I was to share such a special bond with my grandfather and develop so many wonderful memories through the years. It is with that sentiment that I choose to pick up this week’s column. Rather than dwell in the sadness, I choose to reflect with a smile – on the love, the laughter, the photo albums, the video footage, the small possessions that embody much larger stories –
all the components that make pile of “unattributed” wisdom up a life well-lived. we all love to call upon from time to time. No matter the Family is precious. We source, the message is clear. know this, of course; but And so, we smile. We reflect. that petitions nominating candidates for the office of Library Trustee must be filed in the office of the District Clerk between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., not later than March 7th, 2016.
