New Pastor Continued From 6 York in 1975. In 1978 he received a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from State University, Binghamton, New York. He attended the Wesley Theological

Seminary in Washington, DC, where he completed a Graduate Course of Study in 2004. Rev. Knutsen started his service as a pastoral assistant in July 1998 at

the Callicoon, Hankins and Narrowsburg United Methodist Churches in Sullivan County, New York. From July 1999 through July 2002, he was appointed as Pastor to

those churches. He served as Pastor of the Rock Hill United Methodist Church in Sullivan County, New York from 2002-2007. Recently, he served as pastor of

the Pleasant Valley and Bangali United Methodist Churches in Dutchess County, New York from July 2007 until he joined our staff in July 2013. He is an Associate

Member of the New York Conference. Rev. Knutsen enjoys ﬁshing, hiking, motorcycling and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.
