In an effort to address the growing problem of homelessness among New York families, Community Housing Innovations (CHI) and Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone have joined together to launch the CHI Fresh Start program. Christmas time is here. The days and weeks and months of planning and preparation, of shopping and wrapping and decorating and baking, have all led to this brief window of time, from Christmas Eve through Christmas Day, which lends itself to all sorts of magical moments and memories. Holiday Spectacular The Massapequa Business Network enjoyed its 3rd Annual Holiday Spectacular Fair, sponsored by Dairy Queen Massapequa on November 22nd. It was held at the Knights of Columbus in Seaford on Sunday, November 22nd. There were over 500 shoppers in attendance throughout the day and 30 vendors representing local businesses. The event was a huge

success, and Massapequa Business Network raised $1050 for Adopt a Battalion. In addition, Adopt a Battalion collected $700 in donations at the event. A very special check presentation was held on Sunday, December 13th, and Dick Olson and Brian Parker (President and Vice President) of Adopt A Battalion were on hand to receive the check.
