TREASURING FRIENDSHIPS - Second-grade students in Mrs. Steffens’ and Mrs. Dewhirst’s classes at John F. Kennedy Elementary School in the West Babylon School District created treasure boxes as a way of getting to know each other during the first weeks of school. The two classes joined together to decorate the boxes and then presented the treasures to each other.
