FASHION SHOW FOR A GREAT CAUSE
Receiver of Taxes Jennifer Montiglio recently hosted Girl Scout Troop 605’s Glam, Give, Glamp Fashion Show at Town Hall. This year’s event was a fundraiser to raise money for the Cedar Beach Marina scouting campsite. Ten local groups (96 girls) from Babylon, West Babylon, North Babylon and Amityville took part and raised $1,039 for the campground. The money raised will purchase two bell tents, air mattresses, a fire pit and mini refrigerator. Troop 605 will cover the additional amounts needed. “It was a great night!,” Montiglio said.
