EARNING THEIR LOOPS - Seaford’s Pack 239 Webelos 2 Den recently went to the Babylon Riding Center to earn their Horseback Riding Belt Loop. The boys were first fitted for helmets. Next, they went on a tour of the stables. Then, they groomed a horse. Finally, they had a riding lesson. They learned to make the horse go forward, POLAR PJ PARTY - The Kindergarten classes at St. Martin of Tours dressed in their backward, left, right and in circles. They even directed their horses through a mini PJs at school, then watched The Polar Express, enjoyed cocoa, popcorn and cookies obstacle course. They all had a blast! The boys who took part were Luke, Paul, Gregory, during the movie. This exciting, envied event culminated the week’s activities based on Jack and Chris, and big brother Carl from Boy Scout Troop 239, along with Den Leader Chris Van Allsburg’s book, The Polar Express.
