MILES LOUNGE GRAND OPENING

Edmund W. Miles Middle School recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the grand opening of the Miles Lounge. Formerly known as “The Pit,” the newly unveiled Miles Lounge is part of the school’s Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS) program to encourage positive behavior. I am a 49 year member of the Amityville Fire Department, having had the honor of serving as the department’s chief for eight years.

I was voted into office as Village Trustee in 2013 and then became Deputy Mayor in 2017. In addition, I am a local small business owner and dedicated to supporting our town’s economic growth.
