Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer recently joined with Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez and Councilman Terry McSweeney to recognize employees of UL who took part in cleanups at Carll’s River and Santapogue Creek. Over 50 UL employees

participated in three cleanups to remove litter and debris at these sites, where they also took part in interactive discussions with the town’s Department of Environmental Control about environmental programs and issues in the area. Joining the town

UL Employees Thanked officials to honor the UL employees were Robyn Silvestri from Save the Great South Bay, who helps coordinate these cleanups with the town, and Lindenhurst Mayor Michael Lavorata, who is also a UL employee and took part in the cleanups.

UL Employees Thanked Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer recently joined with Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez and Councilman Terry McSweeney to recognize employees of UL who took part in cleanups at Carll’s River and Santapogue Creek. Over 50 UL employees participated

in three cleanups to remove litter and debris at these sites, where they also took part in interactive discussions with the town’s Department of Environmental Control about environmental programs and issues in the area. Joining the town officials to honor the UL

employees were Robyn Silvestri from Save the Great South Bay, who helps coordinate these cleanups with the town, and Lindenhurst Mayor Michael Lavorata, who is also a UL employee and took part in the cleanups.

O’Connell Copiague High School Class of 2020. The annual senior to senior dinner gives the students and the seniors a chance to celebrate the holiday season together. Dressed in

their holiday best, the students welcomed guests and escorted them to their tables. The Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School Madrigal Choir, under the direction of Gina Occhiogrosso, provided the holiday tunes for the evening, singing arrangements that encouraged the audience to sing along. Following the performance, the students

Singing, Dancing And Fun lined up to serve dinner to the senior citizens. When dinner was complete, the guests and students made their way to the dance floor, where they had plenty of opportunity to show off their dance moves. At the end of the evening, the raffle tickets distributed at the door gave the senior citizens the chance to win one of more than three dozen door prizes.

Mini Merry Meatballs (Serves 24)

1/2 cup orange juice

1/2 pound ground beef brisket 1 /4 pound ground beef ribeye steak boneless 1 /4 pound ground beef (80 percent lean) 1 cup seasoned stuffing mix 1 egg, beaten

1 teaspoon minced garlic 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon pepper
