Hello 2024!

By JoAnn Cilla “Get your motor runnin’, head out on the highway, looking for adventure in whatever comes our way.” This song, “Born to Be Wild” by Steppenwolf, was on the radio this morning. It sounded like the perfect introduction to 2024. This year is our opportunity to fully embrace “whatever comes our way.” We need to put the pedal to the metal and speed towards success and fulfillment…whatever that looks like in business and in our personal lives. The business world in 2024 is rapidly evolving, driven by technology, and changing consumer behaviors. If you want the checkered flag this year, you need to remember one word: innovation. This doesn’t mean investing in every new gadget or trend. It’s more about making small, consistent improvements while being open to change. Santa and his elves came early as Suffolk Credit Union donated hundreds of toys to local children in partnership with Mondays at Racine Cancer Care, New York Cancer Foundation and New York Cancer and Blood Specialists. The gifts were contributed by civic-minded credit union members and employees during the ‘Suffolk Smiles’ toy drive at its branches, an annual tradition. Many of the

toys were distributed on December 16th at Mondays at Racine in Sayville. “With their generous donations, our employees and members enthusiastically embraced this opportunity to treat local children to a bounty of fun toys,” said Laura Racioppi, AVP Corporate and Community Partnerships, Suffolk Credit Union. “As a community-focused institution, we are deeply

committed to helping our neighbors, not just during the holidays but throughout the year.” “For families dealing with cancer, the holidays can be quite challenging for many reasons, but most of all financial. This year, thanks to our wonderful partnership with Suffolk Credit Union, we’re able to help those in need by providing toys for their kids,” said Karla Waldron, Executive Director,
