JFK STUDENTS TAKE CHARGE OF SCHOOL STORE - Heather Buksa’s life skills class was put in charge of running the school store at Deer Park’s John F. Kennedy Intermediate School this past school year. Aided by members of JFK’s Student Government Club, Buksa’s students decorated and ordered items for the store while working on their functional math skills and practicing role playing in the classroom.
