Argyle Theatre Owners, Mark & Dylan Perlman add “We are honored to be producing this exciting World Premiere and partnering with Lively McCabe Entertainment and the incredible artists behind Punk Rock Girl! Come on down and be the first to see this new exciting musical!” The cast includes Philippe Arroyo (Broadway: Aladdin), Kayla Catan, Seth Eliser, Jaylan Evans (Regional: The Scottsboro Boys), Kalonjee Gallimore, Ashley LaLonde (Lincoln Center’s The Black Clown), Lauren Marcus (Broadway: Be More Chill), Jackson Mattek, Jordan Leigh McCaskill, Kelly McIntyre (National Tour: A Night With Janis Joplin), Natalie Powers, Mikaela Rada, Brooke Shapiro (Regional: Hairspray), Brad Weatherford.
Long Island’s largest year-round professional theatrical venue, The Argyle Theatre (Mark and Dylan Perlman, Executive Producers & Managing Partners; Evan Pappas, Artistic Director), presents the World Premiere of PUNK ROCK GIRL with book and arrangements by Tony-nominated Long Island Composer Joe Iconis (Broadway’s Be More Chill), arrangements and orchestrations by Rob Rokicki (Broadway’s The Lightning Thief), directed and choreographed by Jennifer Werner Worldwide Associate for Book Of Mormon), and in partnership with Lively McCabe Entertainment. It will begin performances on January 20, in advance of its January 22 opening night and will run through February 27, 2022. The Argyle Theatre (34 West Main Street, Babylon, Long Island).
The creative team includes Music Supervision by Geoffrey Ko, Musical Direction by Jennifer Peacock, Associate Direction and Choreography by Leonard Sullivan, Set Design by Nate Bertone, Costume Design by Jen Caprio, Lighting Design by John Salutz, Sound Design by Carlos Dias Jr and Prop Design by Steven Velasquez, Associate Scenic Designer is Joshua Warner, Associate Costume Designer is Anna Blazer and Heather Neil and Prop Assistant is Courtney Alberto. The Production Stage Manager is Alison Savino, with 1st Assistant Stage Manager Leah V. Pye, and 2nd Assistant Stage Manager /CSM Shannon Stewart. The Casting Director is Michael Cassara, CSA.

Legislator Tom Donnelly Honors Suffolk EMS Icon
Suffolk County Legislator Tom Donnelly (D-Huntington Station) recently honored the retiring Ellen Komosinski for her remarkable 36-year career with the Suffolk County Department of Health, Division of Emergency Medical Services (EMS), joined by his fellow colleagues in the Legislature. Beginning her career in 1999 as a Suffolk County EMS instructor, Ms. Komosinski has held a multitude of critically important positions including: American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Regional Faculty NYC/LI region, AHA ECC Regional Chairperson for NYC/LI region, Suffolk REMSCO Public Access Defibrillation Coordinator, Suffolk County
PAD Coordinator, Suffolk County Emergency Services CISM Coordinator and NYS CIC 2012. In 2018, she was promoted to Grade 23, EMS Officer. Ms. Komosinski has served as a Coordinator for the Suffolk County Emergency Services Critical Incident Stress Management Team (CISM) for more than two decades. CISM operates a 24hour hotline for debriefings and related services and has been ready and available for emergency responders and dispatchers who needed to talk to someone throughout the very difficult, stressful time of COVID. Under her leadership, the CISM program has received many accolades and earned a welldeserved standing as a model program for EMS Providers and First Responders
In addition and perhaps most impactful, Ms. Komosinski has overseen the Suffolk County EMS Division “AHA Training Center” for the last 22 years. She has taught approximately 26,500 separate CPR classes for both County employees and residents and trained close to 150,000 people in CPR. “It is truly staggering how many lives Ellen Komosinski has impacted and will continue to impact,” said Legislator Donnelly. “On behalf of the entire Legislature and all Suffolk County residents, I thank Ms. Komosinski for her incredible, inspiring and impressive service. As a member of REMSCO, I know she will be missed, and I wish her all the best of luck in her future endeavors.”

New York Farm Bureau Seeking 2022 Scholarship Applicants New York high school seniors who are graduating and interested in pursuing a career in agriculture can apply for New York Farm Bureau’s Agricultural Youth Scholarship. Eligible students can use the financial award for college or advanced training in the skilled trades. Statewide winners can earn up to $3,000 towards their future education. The applicant or their family must be a New York Farm Bureau member, and the student must live and/or work a farm or be involved with agriculture
in the state. The student must also complete the application which includes writing an essay addressing what they value and stand for in agriculture and life and how these values have impacted their decision to pursue an agricultural career. Scoring will determine both county and district winners and may include a personal interview. Each district winner will receive $250 and then compete for one of two state scholarships worth $3,000 and $2,000, based on their submitted applications.
Applications must be submitted by March 1, 2022, and the judging will take place prior to April 20, 2022. Local not-for-profit organization, Heroes Among Us joins with the United Veterans Organization of Nassau County and local Veterans of Foreign Wars groups, and the Nassau County Executive’s office to build a monument in Eisenhower Park to honor all post 9/11 servicemen and women. The monument will join other memorials in Veterans Memorial Park which honor veterans who served in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. The Iraq/Afghanistan Veterans Monument will be the only monument of its kind on Long Island and one of the first in New York State honoring the courage, dedication, and bravery of United States servicemen and women who fought in military conflicts after 9/11. Over this twenty-year period, 7,000 servicemen and women died in battle and 30,000 post 9/11 veterans have died by suicide. The monument will provide a permanent reminder of their service and provide a much-needed sanctuary and
