The CDC advises cat owners to scoop cat litter daily and change it at least twice per week. Pregnant women should never clean cat litter. The Equity First Foundation has three different types of programs that they offer: Educational Institution Program This program focuses on k-12, post secondary, and trade schools with student types comprised of all abilities including special needs and developmentally disabled. It is offered as a workshop / assembly that can last for as short as 45 minutes to as long as a full day or mini series. Each program is uniquely designed to fit the educational facility after a comprehensive needs analysis. Some sample topics that can be addressed are: career options by salary, understanding

money management, life skills, healthy financial choices, creating a budget, creating a savings account and more. Community Outreach Program The Community Outreach Program focuses on independent facilities, partnering charities and nonprofits, community centers, libraries, career fairs, guest speakers, events and more for all demographics. These are offered in as short as 45 minutes to as long as a full day or mini series. Some sample topics are: first time home-buyer, understanding student loans, improving your credit, avoiding senior scams, understanding your retirement plan and more. Corporate Awareness Program This program focuses on a lunch and learn structure for 10 or more employees. Some sample topics are: paying off debt, understanding your 401K, saving for vacation, your family on a budget and benefits of good credit.

Creating A Personal Funeral Service: Part Four Throughout our lives whenever we or someone close to us has a major event, i.e. birth, first birthday, Holy Communion, Graduation, Bar Mitzvah, Wedding, 25th Anniversary, holidays, etc. to commemorate such events we celebrate with a ceremony. Some of the ceremonies are elaborate affairs that take months if not years to plan, some are simple family only affairs but there is always a ceremony. For some reason, many have come to think the death of an individual does not call for any ceremony to commemorate or celebrate the life of the deceased. All too often I hear people say “I do not wish to be a burden or bother anyone just cremate me and spend my ashes in the ocean” or I hear the family come in and say “he was a simple person who did not want anything just a cremation and bury the ashes in the garden.” Although these procedures are expedient, in my opinion it is not the right thing to do for the survivors or the deceased. I am not saying that you must have a traditional funeral with a viewing and a funeral mass but I am saying some type of ceremony should take place to commemorate and celebrate the life of the deceased. I have helped families coordinate funeral services and catering for over 300 people in attendance. I have also provided information for the family to do their own personal ceremony without anyone else present. The harsh truth is within three generations or less no one will remember any of us but we all should take at least a few moments out of our busy lives to remember those whom we loved and celebrate their lives. So adolescents who feel that they have control over the direction of their lives, feelings which can be strengthened when they are given some level of autonomy as teenagers, are less likely to feel overwhelmed, helpless, hopeless, passive, or resigned as adults.

by user friendly computer software that allows Dominican Village to download and store temperature check records of all visitors, staff, and residents. In the age of the pandemic, we believe the ability to check visitors/ employees without adding additional exposure is paramount.

A notable symptom of heatstroke is that perspiration stops completely. Rehydration, cooling the body and loosening tight clothes can help prevent serious consequences.
