TOWN BOARD MEMBERS PARTICIPATE IN “LOVE A BOOK WEEK”
Town of Babylon Councilman Terence McSweeney and Anthony Manetta recently participated in Northeast Elementary Schools’ “Love a Book Week” by visiting classes, sharing their favorite books, and reading to the students. In a joint statement, McSweeney and Manetta emphasized the importance of reading to children at an early age, highlighting the benefits of boosting brain development, strengthening bonds, and fostering empathy and emotional intelligence through books.
