Impression of the Osaka EAMSC

This is my second time to join this kind of conference. To join the Osaka EAMSC is just great! It s a wonderful experience for me. There were three activities I liked very much. One was small group discussion. It let me acquire so many ideas from different cultural backgrounds. We performed brainstorming first. Every group member described the situations of their respective countries and shared their experience. I loved the way everyone exchanged different ideas and experiences. Not only to introduce the situation to let others know more about their own country, but also to learn more about others. This year the theme is Health . It s a very wide and good topic. There were so many aspects we have to pay attention to. Every group presented their subject. I had got so many ideas from all these presentations. Everyone was so creative. Every group concentrated on the topic they ve got and did a good job. The other was the city tour. I was arranged to visit Kyoto. Kyoto is a great city. It has a very long history. Kyoto has many temples. I visited the famous Kinkaku-ji temple and Ryoan-ji temple. Although I had been Osaka in last July, it was totally different from what I got in that trip. Visiting the same place in different seasons with different people made me feel refreshed and interesting. The third one was the party. The last evening spent in Japan we had a party in the pub. Although it s a little crowded, I still enjoyed it very much. I can t dance very well, but it s
the first time I danced with friends on the stage. It was so exciting for me. Everyone just relaxed and danced with the music. The atmosphere was so high. I had a lot of fun in the party. I ve learned so many from this conference.
For this EAMSC, I spent a lot time on it because I represented my country to do the country presentation. We chose the topic National Health Insurance (NHI) . I think it s a very good chance to conduct this important and special issue of Taiwan to other countries. After the presentation, so many delegates came to us and asked for more information about the NHI. It s the encouraging for us since we had spent so many hours and energy on the presentation. The most wonderful thing was I made so

many friends in the meeting. I think anyone who would like to join this kind of conference must be very enthusiastic on other kind of things in addition to their own course works. I think being a medical student can not just only care about diseases. Public health is also a very important area. The EAMSC can be the starting point to let everyone brew their ideas. This kind of meeting is the rare chance to gather so many medical students and to share so many things. The more we share, the more we receive in return. Keeping the friendship in the EAMSC will make our lives more bountiful. Finally I would like to say I had a very good memory in Osaka EAMSC. I would never forget I had ever been to Osaka and had this joyful experience in my life. I will always remember it s in the winter when I was twenty-two years of age. The climate was so cold yet my heart felt so warm.
