A WORD from the CEO

Dear Co-Laborers,

In Exodus 12, God established that the first month of the Hebrew calendar would be built around commemorating Passover and his working in a mighty way to deliver the Jewish people from slavery. As we start this first month of 2026, we also look back and marvel at what God has done in a mighty way to deliver those in need from spiritual and physical poverty.

It is my observation after three decades that our God-given charge is not getting any easier. The world’s problems seem to be getting only more complex, even though the solution will always be simple—the transformation that comes through trusting Christ. I am reminded of Jesus’ words about wars, famines, and disasters in Matthew 24:6: “Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.” We must be about God’s work until every people group has had the opportunity to hear and respond to the message of salvation.

Your partnership is consistently making a difference for God’s glory, and this newsletter is a snapshot of this reality. Be encouraged that he allows us to be a part of his great plan of redemption for the world! We are honored to be with you on this incredible journey.

Serving with you,

for Helping Us FINISH STRONG Thank You

Thank you for reaching deeper to make the year-end season so meaningful. This past year, a generous donor offered a special Challenge Gift to inspire and encourage increased year-end impact, and YOU responded! From Giving Tuesday through every gift received in December, you stepped up to the challenge with remarkable generosity.

Because of you, more children will be fed, more families will be strengthened, and more hearts will be impacted by the gospel. Your willingness to go above and beyond, especially in a season with so many demands, speaks volumes about your compassion and commitment. We are deeply grateful for you. Thank you for standing with us, giving sacrificially, and helping ensure that the work continues into this new year.

Aid and Encouragement in Times of Need

Together, we rebuild hope, restore hearts, and rescue damaged communities with love and compassion. Thank you for blessing Feed the Hunger with your prayers, efforts, and financial support that delivers help when and where it is needed most.

In November, Feed the Hunger staff witnessed firsthand the devastation Hurricane Melissa brought to western Jamaica. The storm destroyed homes, schools, and hospitals, washed away crops, stripped trees bare, and caused underground rivers to rise and flood homes. The impact on this small island was catastrophic.

Praise God, an entire shipment of Feed the Hunger meals had arrived in Kingston just days before the hurricane. Our partners quickly mobilized, distributing food and partnering with local churches to reach communities hardest hit by the disaster.

“Right now, the people in the areas ravaged by Melissa are in dire need of any kind of food. The rice packs we delivered in St. Elizabeth were received with joy.” —Nigel Lewis, Jamaica Ministry Partner

The needs in western Jamaica extended far beyond food. Thanks to generous donations, Feed the Hunger provided funds to purchase hundreds of cases of water. Meanwhile, friends of Feed the Hunger quickly sprang into action, packing additional meals to send to Jamaica. On that shipment, we were also able to include 19 boxes of roof tarps, 46 boxes of diapers, and numerous boxes of baby formula and wipes, bringing much-needed relief to families affected by this natural disaster.

Oh SNAP!

Because you showed up to fund and pack meals when called upon, Feed the Hunger was able to send more than 75,000 meals to food pantries across the US to support SNAP recipients when federal nutrition assistance was paused. Addressing food insufficiency with Feed the Hunger meal packets is one of the many ways you bless vulnerable communities in the US on a regular basis. Thank you for responding when there is a need, whether it’s around the world or here at home. Together, we show love to our neighbors near and far.

GHANA A Tale of Two Regions

The nation of Ghana reflects two realities for people living side by side. The southern regions are wealthier and largely Christian, while the northern areas face greater poverty and a growing Muslim population. Despite the challenging circumstances, God has opened an incredible door of opportunity for Feed the Hunger to connect these communities to Christ.

Our ministry partner, Chris, is faithfully reaching countless children and families, and your support is what makes his life-changing ministry possible. In September, our CEO, Joseph Williams, led a team of Feed the Hunger friends and family on a mission trip filled with more than a dozen powerful outreach visits across the country. Many of the remote communities they served were reached by narrow dirt paths far beyond the main road. These are places where there is no electricity or running water, and schoolchildren meet under the shade of trees. There was great joy in placing Bibles into eager hands and sharing warm meals, food packets, Hygiene Packs, feminine hygiene kits, and Edu-Packs. Every visit was a reminder that, even in the most remote places, your generosity is reaching hearts and changing lives.

We had the honor of distributing nearly 700 Bibles at an educational facility dedicated to training Ghana’s next generation of nurses and healthcare practitioners. From the back of a pickup truck, Chris and Joseph shared God’s love with a crowd of students, faculty, and staff—a truly unforgettable sight!

“The personal and spiritual impact of this trip was immeasurable. It was one of the greatest honors of my life to serve with my wife while also representing the Board of Feed the Hunger.”

—Rick (and Mel) Bartosik

It’s always about more than simply distributing essential items. Wherever we travel, there are countless meaningful interactions with entire communities of all ages and abilities: teachers and schoolchildren, Muslims and persecuted Christians, outcasts and refugees. We met single parents, students, and those facing a lifetime of hard labor. Each encounter was a reminder that ministry is ultimately about listening to people’s stories and sharing God’s love in tangible ways.

MEETING WITH MISSION MAKERS

Feed the Hunger was honored to welcome four of our ministry partners to our Greensboro headquarters during the last quarter of 2025. Alex from Ethiopia, Ranjan from Sri Lanka, Vitaliy from Ukraine, and Pastor D from Pakistan all blessed us with visits. Though we stay in regular contact with partners across the globe, nothing compares to meeting face to face. It is always a joy to hear how God is using their faithful service to advance the gospel and meet the needs of others on your behalf.

Alex has been a partner for more than 30 years. He leads Living Gospel Ethiopia, a ministry dedicated to reaching the unreached and strengthening church leadership across East Africa. Though based in Ethiopia, Alex’s influence extends into Kenya, Uganda, Egypt, and South Sudan. His team is actively engaging Ethiopian Orthodox priests, equipping and developing them so they can more effectively share the gospel within their communities.

Ranjan launched United Christian Fellowship of Sri Lanka (UCF) in 1987 with just six believers and no ministry space. Today, the ministry has grown to 35 full- and part-time staff and pastors. Despite ongoing persecution in nonChristian areas, UCF continues to serve boldly through mobile medical clinics, humanitarian relief, school supply distributions, nursery programs, slum outreach, microenterprise initiatives, and feeding programs.

Vitaliy and his wife, Natalia, decided to make a life-altering decision and move to Ukraine in 2009 as missionaries, creating Open Door Foundation in Ternopil. Your support of Feed the Hunger has helped them serve orphaned children, underprivileged families, and elderly widows throughout Ukraine. Since the onset of the war, the ministry has extended its reach through collaboration with local partners to bring critical aid to suffering Ukrainians.

Pastor D from Pakistan was a guest presenter at our headquarters Christmas events. He shared how your support has blessed his ministry, which serves unreached and unevangelized people groups. He and his team hope to reach more than 200 million people with God’s Word, show them the love of Jesus, and baptize them. Feed the Hunger has partnered with Pastor D for the past three years, supporting Bible distribution, feeding tribal schoolchildren, and funding self-support projects and construction of village wells and toilets. Serving in an Islamic nation, he and his team face significant persecution, yet their deepest prayer remains the same—to lead the lost to Christ.

All 42 of our strategic partners reflect God’s heart in action. They steward your support to help meet physical hunger, offer spiritual care, and show unwavering compassion to those who feel forgotten. Their dedication touches countless lives and hearts as they share the good news of Jesus.

YOUR GENEROSITY DELIVERED HOLIDAY Joy

We are continually humbled by the tireless work of our ministry partners. Day after day, they and their families and co-laborers step into neighborhoods marked by need. To celebrate these faithful servants and thank God for the ways they shine his light, we provide a special Christmas Blessing gift to them each year.

Meeting the needs of at-risk children and communities year-round requires strength and resilience, yet our partners go the extra mile at year’s end, not for themselves, but to encourage others. Your special gift helped Feed the Hunger partners bring hope and joy to communities around the world. Bibles were placed

in the hands of new believers, 35 pastors of new churches were equipped to lead their congregations, and families received nourishing meals accompanied by the life-changing message of the gospel.

“Many believers in these communities share a single Bible among several families. Providing Bibles will strengthen their personal faith and help them grow in their understanding of God’s Word. We deeply value the opportunity to partner together in sharing God’s Word. Bible distributions have proven to be an effective way to strengthen believers. Many of the recipients are first-generation Christians.”

“The Bibles will be a special Christmas gift to the poor new believers. Touching lives through the printed Word of God gives us peace. Thank you for supporting us for such needs.”

Thanks to you, thousands experienced the tangible love of Christ in the Christmas season, and those who work on the ministry frontlines were blessed and encouraged by your giving.

Ho, Ho, Hope at the Holidays!

THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for the annual Christmas Packathon! Giving your resources, time, and energy is a reflection of your heart in action. Because you served others this season, thousands of meals will bring nourishment, joy, and the love of Christ to families in need.

Growing the Impact

Expand the Outreach is an initiative that began with Feed the Hunger’s relocation to our new headquarters in Greensboro, NC—a significant move toward strengthening our capacity to reach and serve more children and families, faster and more effectively, in Jesus’ name. This past fall, we hosted a series of Expand the Outreach benefit meals to share the vision, and we look forward to introducing more of our community to this initiative in the months ahead. Please join us in praying for Expand the Outreach and how God may invite you to be part of its growing impact.
