CROSS PHASE
Students will be work on becoming confident performers and work as a group to create a mini recital. The sessions will include work on healthy habits and techniques, combatting performance anxiety and putting on a show!
Students will develop patience, focus, and fine motor skills as they carefully place the gems to form a vibrant design The activity encourages creativity whilst also supporting students to work step by step Strengthening their ability to follow processes, stay organised, and take pride in producing high‑quality work.
Students will make a seasonal greetings’ card each week which they can take home. Sessions will develop fine motor skills and creativity.
Students opting for football will get the chance to train on a regular basis and play in house fixtures There is also the possibility of external fixtures but no guarantee
Develop your rugby ability with a range of training sessions. This will take place at Wath Rugby club and will give chance for all abilities to be involved in a sport that helps build confidence through teamwork
Students will learn the basics of skipping with individual ropes and build on these skills to perform tricks Students will have the opportunity to work in groups to perfect timing and jumping skills jumping with a long rope. More advanced jumpers will get to try their hand at Double Dutch skipping with two long ropes.
Students will gain the opportunity to develop instrument specific skills on a range of Pop/Rock band related instruments Developing Resilience, Responsibility and Respect within each session as well as music skills that will last a lifetime! Students will have the opportunity to try different instruments, work on their independent skills as well as work as a group/ensemble to produce a final performance.
Students are getting an introduction of Italian basics. We will be covering topics like numbers, colours, saying your name and food! You are going to do a project of your choice about Italian cars, famous sights or food We are also going to look at some cultural topics like the Venetian Carnival and Easter The aim is to give you a little insight in the Italian language and Italy as a country.
This activity is open to everyone, students who have never played chess before and want to learn, beginners and advanced players We will learn together some new tactics, will solve puzzles, watch grandmasters giving advice but the main activity will be PLAYING CHESS. There will be opportunities to play competitive and non-competitive and we will organise ments
Mindful colouring encourages you to pay attention to the immediate task at hand, the feel of the pen, and the colours you ' re using It is a great way to shift your attention from distracting thoughts and helps create a calmness in your mood We will look at various designs and patterns including a cultural session and can see which one is their preferred. It is done in a quiet environment with music playing in the background for calming purposes.
If you are interested in crafts and making things this may well be the enrichment for you In crochet we will be creating textiles by using a crochet hook to interlock loops of yarn, thread, or strands of other materials. By the end of the enrichment block you will have learnt a new skill and have made something to take with you.

This Spanish enrichment will develop students’ listening, speaking, reading and writing skills (all 4 languages skills) through a range of interactive games and activities. Students will learn key vocabulary and language linked to topics such as greetings, numbers, animals, family, personality traits, colours and countries, alongside cultural learning including El Dia de los Muertos.
The Drama club is an enrichment opportunity that enhances students' ability and creativity by allowing them to understand how we move from “ page to stage”, focussing on Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes Students will showcase their performance and creative skills at the end of the unit
‘Strictly come dancing’ is an enrichment opportunity to allow students to learn a new dance style they may have never done before! Students will learn how to dance the salsa and cha cha cha and showcase their talents to each other!
Brinsworth News is a creative, student led newspaper project designed to give students a platform to share their ideas, opinions, and reporting skills. Students work as a newsroom team to plan, write, and design a school newspaper that reflects the voices and experiences of Brinsworth students

Clay craft gives students the opportunity to get creative with a variety of clay types including air dry and polymer They will work on a variety of projects such as pinch pots, bead making and tile design

Readers get to follow Percy’s fast paced adventures while unpacking the deeper themes hidden beneath the humor and action It’s the kind of story that invites people to imagine themselves at Camp Half Blood, debate which godly parent they’d hope for, and explore how mythology can feel surprisingly relevant today.
Students will complete a range of sessions in the fitness suit, looking at progressive overload, intensity of training and the types of training they can do They will then apply this knowledge to their lessons and look at how this can be applied in later life and outside of the academy to support a active healthy lifestyle.
Students will be completing a series of activities to get them thinking about sustainability, socially, economically and environmentally They will be completing activities from participating in bird watching, creating stones with eco messages to promote social sustatinability, launching a eco pen recycling scheme.
Debate club will build you into a more confident speaker and help you form complex, convincing arguments while learning the skills of debate
