INTRODUCTION FROM THE CEO As I reflect on this year's examination and assessment outcomes across NCLT, I am filled with an immense sense of pride. We have seen another strong set of results across all three phases of education, and I would like to congratulate every student, member of staff, governor and family who has played a part in these achievements.

Richard Fletcher CEO - NCLT

This year feels particularly special because a number of our schools and colleges have achieved their best results ever. Reaching a new high is always a fantastic achievement and a real credit to the hard work, commitment and ambition of both our staff and students. These outcomes demonstrate what can be achieved when talented young people are supported by dedicated professionals who believe in them and refuse to accept anything less than their very best. Equally, we have a number of schools that are on improvement journeys, with ambitious plans and exciting futures ahead of them. For me, some of the most rewarding moments this summer came from seeing the faces of students and staff on results days as they celebrated the progress they have made together. Several of our schools have taken significant strides forward, working tirelessly each day to improve outcomes and opportunities for the communities they serve. It has been wonderful to witness those efforts being recognised and rewarded. One of the things I love most about education is that success can be measured in many different ways. Of course, I am enormously proud that New College Pontefract has nine students progressing to Oxbridge this year, an achievement that reflects exceptional dedication and academic excellence. However, I gain just as much pride from hearing about a pupil who achieved Expected Plus in their SATs when there were no guarantees they would do so, or a student who secured a Grade 4 in English and Mathematics GCSE after a long journey where success had once seemed unlikely. In many ways, these stories are every bit as inspiring. Seeing young people overcome challenges, exceed expectations and open doors to new opportunities is what education is all about. I want to take this opportunity to recognise the absolute hard work, professionalism and commitment of all Trust staff who have contributed to these very special results. While I firmly believe that working in education is the best job in the world, I also fully appreciate how demanding and challenging it can be. Having experienced those challenges firsthand throughout my career, I have enormous respect for every colleague across our Trust. Once again, you have achieved something truly remarkable whilst simultaneously helping to shape the futures of the young people in our care. As a Trust, we continue to make a positive difference year after year. We continue to raise aspirations, create opportunities and, most importantly, open doors for the children and young people we serve. That is something we should all be incredibly proud of. I am certainly very proud to be part of it.

As Chair of Trustees, I am delighted to celebrate the academic and vocational outcomes achieved across our schools and colleges this year. These results reflect high expectations and standards of teaching, rigorous leadership and a collaborative approach that defines our Trust’s purpose. From the primary schools where our youngest learners secure great foundations and milestones, to our secondary provision where remarkable improvements have been achieved, to the colleges who have established themselves as leading providers in the region, we are seeing the impact of our collective vision.

Diane Heritage Chair of Trustees

The Board of Trustees would like to thank our executive and central team, leaders, teachers and support staff who work tirelessly to eliminate barriers and support the children and young people to thrive and succeed. Most importantly I want to commend our children and young people for their hard work, resilience and ambition to progress and achieve.

This has been a highly successful year across New Collaborative Learning Trust, with strong outcomes across all three educational phases. I would like to begin by recognising the hard work, commitment and dedication of our staff, who continue to make a difference to the lives of our children and young people every day. Our primary phase has delivered a particularly strong set of results, with significant improvements at Thorpe Hesley and Anston Greenlands, while Redscope has continued to achieve exceptionally well for its pupils. These results are a reflection of the sustained efforts of teachers and support staff over many years, and I would like to congratulate everyone who has contributed. Our secondary schools have also exceeded expectations, with many areas achieving results above their predictions. Wingfield has excelled once again, while Dinnington and Brinsworth have made significant progress. Given the challenges faced across our schools, these achievements are a real credit to the staff and students involved.

Deborah Green Chair of NCLT Education Standards Committee

In post-16, all five providers have achieved positive value added – a significant achievement and one that we should all be proud of. New College Bradford has particularly stood out, achieving exceptional value added across a range of qualifications and subjects. Overall, these results demonstrate the impact of the collective commitment, expertise and determination across NCLT. There is much to celebrate, and I would like to thank every member of staff and every student who has contributed to these successes. Together, you continue to change lives.
