YOUR JOURNEY OF POSSIBILITIES

Introduction NCC Education - Programmes at a glance

Progress to university with NCC Education qualifications!

Originally established as an initiative by the British Government in 1966, NCC Education is a UK awarding body and global provider of education.

Working with some of the world’s leading British academics and industry, the NCC Education qualification portfolio is continually expanding to align with the ever-growing needs of employers and higher education institutes alike.

NCC Education’s Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (L3IFDHES) is now recognised by over 100 universities, branch campuses, business schools and professional bodies for on-campus study in over 20 countries. Students are eligible to apply to Year 1 of undergraduate study in the UK, Australia, Canada, China, Cyprus, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, Mauritius, New Zealand, Singapore, Switzerland, UAE, USA, Uzbekistan and Vietnam (see pages 17-215).

Many NCC Education Level 3, 4 and 5

Diploma in Business and Level 3, 4 and 5 Diploma in Computing (with specialisms)

students choose to follow NCC Education’s world-class top-up degree pathways in Business, Computing or Cyber Security through our global network of Accredited Partner Centres. As an alternative to this, NCC Education is proud to offer a number of university progression and articulation options from these Diplomas, enabling students to apply to Year 1 of an undergraduate degree or with advanced standing/credit exemptions towards Years 2 or 3 (see pages 216-313).

There are also a range of options at postgraduate level for Pre-Master’s in Business and Level 7 Diploma in Business Management graduates (see pages 314332).

If you need more advice on progression to further study with your NCC Education qualification, please contact your local Accredited Partner Centre or customer.support@nccedu.com

Note: Many other universities accept NCC Education qualifications. This brochure only lists those who have issued NCC Education with a letter of recognition.

NCC Education’s Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies was very important as it taught me all the key basic skills in Communication, English and Maths.

At the same time I found it challenging as learnt how to speak academically. My favourite subject was English for Academic purposes – this unit helped me improve my grammar and helped me to express myself when delivering speeches. The L3IFDHES gave me an excellent foundation for my further studies in Accounting.

Dilfuza completed NCC Education’s Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies and has progressed to study with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in Uzbekistan.

Why did choose NCC Education? Firstly, chose the NCC Education Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies because all the courses are taught in English.

Secondly, live in a French-speaking country, so learning in English has helped me adopt a bilingual study approach and get ready to be marketable in the work place. The fact that the programme is an international diploma is the most important thing for me!

“I have engaged in both internal and external research opportunities throughout my time at Carroll. have worked on multiple research projects with biology faculty Additionally, have also interned at various external research institutions including the Medical College of Wisconsin and the Harvard University Stem Cell Institute. From my experience conducting research studies off-campus, I learned that despite coming from a small liberal arts college, I have been sufficiently prepared to carry out a well-designed research project and produce reliable findings like those from prestigious universities Thanks to the International Scholarship I have received from Carroll every year, I can engage in this unique and amazing college experience.”

The Business and Economics electives in the NCC Education L3IFDHES programme were very helpful for my university preparation. When I was interviewed by the university, they asked about my familiarity with business concepts like SWOT, PESTLE analysis etc. Since I had learned about these, I was able to answer their questions easily.

am extremely proud to be a holder of the L3IFDHES qualification, and genuinely have no regrets about choosing this programme! César Ritz Colleges Switzerland

This foundation fitted my needs because it offers flexible scheduling and the syllabus focuses on relevant courses and subjects.

The materials were easy to follow and suitable for any students that are trying to enter higher tertiary education.

Bazilah Hamdan

Bazilah completed NCC Education’s Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies. She is currently studying Bachelor of Business Administration at Unitar International University, Malaysia

NCC Education’s Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies helped me to develop strong critical thinking skills as well as language skills which are beneficial for me to succeed at university. It allowed me to make new friends, be involved in group work and achieved my L3IFDHES overall score of Distinction.

I would like to say if you are looking for a chance to study abroad, the L3IFDHES programme is a better choice for Chinese students.

Lixiang Dong

After completing the NCC Education Level 3 Diploma for Higher Education Studies, Lixiang Dong was accepted to study Bachelor of Business at The University of New South Wales, Australia.

The assignment for the Business unit was interesting as it required me to do research as if wanted to open my own company. This helped me understand the different aspects required for an entrepreneur to start up a new business.

The English-language units also helped me to successfully pass my IELTS exam as well as understanding the correct way to write assignments.

I would recommend L3IFDHES to other students because it can lead to progression to a lot of universities in the UK and Australia, including the Russell Group and Group of 8.

Portia Celina Pola

Portia completed NCC Education’s Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies and received a L3IFDHES High Achiever Award 2023.

The NCC Education Level

3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (L3IFDHES) is a very reliable British diploma.

My favourite thing about this qualification is that I can apply to universities in over 20 countries.

Now that I have completed the L3IFDHES, I have gained more confidence in my future success in life.

The L3IFDHES was very well structured, laying out clear steps toward achieving my educational goals, which kept me focused.

I liked that we could choose to study a range of subjects – in my case Computing and Business - as this gave me a well-rounded perspective before I specialised in my degree.

The L3IFDHES programme is wellrounded, offering not just academic learning but also helping develop critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

The course developed my research, analytical, and academic writing skills, which are essential for university-level studies. The coursework was structured similarly to how universities operate, so became familiar with academic expectations. It also taught me time management and independent study techniques, both of which are crucial for success at university.

My main goal is to complete my higher education and start working full-time with recognised qualifications for my foundation and degree.

NCC Education had the exact course I was looking for, which is why I had no second thoughts about choosing the L3IFDHES for my foundation course.

I completed NCC Education for my foundation and have just started my degree provided by the University of Central Lancashire!

This has worked perfectly because of the similar material, case studies and learning methods.

What I liked most about the L3IFDHES is that it focuses on critical thinking, research and writing skills essential for higher education.

The resources and support available foster a positive learning experience, helping students build confidence.

Moreover, students can choose from various study modes, part-time and full-time options, making education more accessible.

Bibi completed NCC Education’s Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies. She has progressed to study Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) from UNITAR International University at HADtech College, Brunei.

Bibi Qistina

A special quality about the L3IFDHES is that it includes units in Study Skills and English for Academic Purposes. These units feature elements which are not included in A-levels, but are invaluable throughout our student career. Study Skills includes note-taking skills, academic essay writing, reading techniques and revision strategy, while English for Academic Purposes is a subject which has been most beneficial to me, by improving my academic writing skills. The quality of teaching is outstanding, and I would highly recommend anyone to consider L3IFDHES.

I appreciated the structure of the UCLan BCIS and the way it built on the knowledge I had gained in my previous studies with NCC Education. The modules were well-designed and relevant to the real world and the assignments helped me develop practical skills. I also enjoyed the opportunity to work on research projects that aligned with my interests in financial technology.

I would summarise my experience with NCC Education and UCLan as challenging, enriching and rewarding.
