2,330 Mountain School students, 1,279 miles paddles by Youth Leadership Adventure participants, 3,500 adults and families attending classes . . . these numbers are fun and satisfying.
But the most important numbers in our annual report are that over 575 foundations, companies and people like you donated $1.2 million in 2013. I am so very grateful for your support that is fostering personal transformation through intimate experiences in nature. Youth Leadership Adventures participant Meron Abdisa said it well: “This was my first time to have an outdoors experience. I don’t want it to be my last...these experiences shaped me by helping me believe that I can do things without giving up easily.”
