CAMP INFORMATION
REGISTRATION
Registration is on a first come, first serve basis Camp capacity numbers may be limited so we recommend registering as soon as possible to ensure enrollment Advanced registration is required and is complete once payment is received for each program . Camp is $160 per week or $150 with the Early Bird Discount if you register the Thursday before .
FULL DAY CAMPS
Join us at one of our full day camps this summer Each week will be filled with games, crafts, and other fun activities . Campers will swim at least one time per week at a nearby City of Arlington pool Optional lunch program is available at certain camps An afternoon snack is provided at all locations Field trips will be scheduled only if camp protocol allows us to safely transport campers to an off-site location

WHAT IS THE NATURALLY FUN SCHOLARSHIP?
MINI CAMPS
A variety of mini camps may be offered at select centers These unique camps highlight specific interests (i e basketball, cooking, engineering) and are scheduled either during the morning or afternoon These are great for families who are not seeking child-care but just looking for some fun activities and skills to learn .
REFUND POLICY
A customer must withdraw from a program or camp three business days prior to the start of the first class to be eligible for a refund or credit . Fees for classes, programs, or camps which are canceled by Arlington Parks, Recreation & Culture are fully refundable We encourage our customers to utilize their funds to re-enroll in other programs Staff will gladly assist with finding a similar program at another location Participants removed from an Arlington Parks, Recreation & Culture facility, class, program, lesson, or camp due to disciplinary reasons will not receive a refund .
It’s a Scholarship Program for all ages to register and receive discounted rates for applicable Arlington Parks, Recreation & Culture programs, youth sports leagues, full-day camps and memberships
QUALIFICATIONS?
Eligibility is based upon federal income guidelines and is available to Arlington residents only . Due to limited funding, scholarships will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis The discounted rate you receive will be based on your household’s annual income Please check current HUD annual income limits on our website
HOW TO APPLY:
Fill out the financial assistance application . If funding is still available and you meet the qualifications to be awarded, you will be contacted and given an award letter with activity registration instructions . Please ensure that you include the required verification documents when submitting your application for a faster processing time

Get ready for a summer filled with adventure, fun, and friendships! Our camp is designed to keep kids engaged with exciting activities, group games, and plenty of outdoor play . We'll provide a morning snack, an afternoon snack daily to keep your campers fueled and ready for all the action . For picky eaters, we recommend packing a lunch and snacks . Camper should wear closed-toe shoes with socks every day to stay safe while exploring and playing . This project focuses on the design and construction of a new outdoor aquatic facility to replace the existing pool in west Arlington Voters approved a $7 million bond proposal in the 2023 Bond Election A public survey was sent out in early February 2025 where results were used to create two Concept Development Designs Those that did not complete the online survey had the option to attend a public open house at Dottie Lynn Recreation Center in March 2025 to select their preferred amenities from the two Concept Development Designs . In May, Kimley-Horn staffs decided on a final Conceptual Plan Layout of the new facility . Construction began in winter 2026 with a projected completion date of spring 2027 .

LEARN TO SWIM LEVEL 4 STROKE IMPROVEMENT
Participants entering this course must have a Level 3 certificate or must be able to demonstrate all the completion requirements in Level 3 . The objectives of Level 4 are to develop confidence in the strokes learned thus far and to improve other aquatic skills Participants improve their skills and increase their endurance by swimming familiar strokes (front crawl, elementary backstroke) for greater distances Students also continue to build upon the scissors kick and dolphin kick by adding the arms for sidestroke and butterfly . Summer Classes at the Nature Center provide students with an exciting hands-on, experiential opportunity to explore our natural world A variety of STEM programs and topics offer an interactive, engaging way to learn about wildlife, ecology and the environment with classes ranging from Preschool to 8th Grade
Weekly Summer Camps are available throughout June and July, offering a 9am–12pm schedule for children ages 3–4 years old, and a 9am–3pm schedule for 1st–8th graders

These demonstrations provide practical tips and knowledge that you can take home to help make a positive impact on the environment

If registering for a class that has been filled, your name can be placed on a waiting list This does not guarantee a spot, but individuals will be contacted if one becomes available
CANCELED CLASSES / SESSIONS
If a class or session is canceled, every effort will be made to notify parents and students by telephone prior to the first class meeting
MEMBERSHIPS
Monthly membership allow Arlington residents to participate in a wide range of Parks & Recreation’s programs at any center without paying additional fees as they would have under the previous membership program There are 3 levels of Memberships - Blue, Green, Gold Visit our website for more membership information

City of Arlington Parks, Recreation & Culture is committed to providing all members and guests with a healthy and safe environment during their visit to our facilities . Parks, Recreation & Culture will work in conjecture with patrons to ensure their safety in all centers Members, guests and other visitors must follow all policies and procedures established by the
department during their visit Failure to do so may result in suspension or permanent removal from parks and recreation facility access . Members, guests, and other visitors are expected to adhere to the following behavioral guidelines:
• Each member shall furnish proper facility identification upon request
• Running in the building is prohibited
• Tobacco and e-cigarette products, matches or lighters are prohibited
• General horseplay is prohibited
• Attire suitable for or aimed at families with children required for facility usage
• Profanity, belligerent, vulgar language and/or defiant or abusive speech is prohibited
• Bullying, harassment, and/or discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law is prohibited
• Behavior that causes a hostile environment which may put members, guests, or staff in danger is prohibited
• Physical contact that is not welcomed by any member, guest or employee is prohibited
• Misuse or abuse of equipment is prohibited
• Unauthorized entry into the recreation/athletic center is prohibited
• Loitering is prohibited
• Fighting is prohibited
• Unauthorized possession of a weapon or other dangerous materials is prohibited
• Vandalism or act resulting in property damage is prohibited
• Consumption, possession, sale or transfer of illegal substances or alcohol is prohibited
• Theft, tampering, removal or unauthorized possession of property belonging to members, guests, or employees is prohibited
• Animals are prohibited from entering into any center facility with the exceptions listed below:
• The animal is a police service animal under the supervision of a police officer in the performance of his official duties; or
• The animal is a “service dog” performing duties of assisting the disabled (Amend Ordinance 01-025, 3/27/01)
